My tax lady used the wrong account number for my direct deposit (fudge cake!) both state and federal… State was authorized but it never hit my account because, well, wrong info! Federal it was received on the 21st (still one bar)…. what should I do next??? (state of California BTW)

@crystal v- That’s great! thanks for the info, I will definitely call tomorrow. My refund was received on the 21st, I hope it doesn’t update tonight.

lastly, do you have the # you called (shy face)? if so, that will be great!

          Thanks in advance!

You can call the IRS and if they have not finished processing your return, they can stop the direct deposit and send a paper check instead. I called last week with the same issue but I missed the window that they could fix it in.
