Wrong bank account info entered. What will happen to my refund and stimulus.

I’ve been waiting for my refund and stimulus only to discover I’ve entered the wrong direct deposit information on my 2019 and 2020 taxes. I no longer live at the address on my 2019 taxes. Can someone advise on what to do.

  You will have to receive a top up payment. For those who got direct deposit rejected and returned back to the IRS due to account being closed you will have to contact the IRS by September 1 2021 to revive your stimulus this year. If you don’t get a hold of anyone by that date you will be considered ineligible and will have to wait until your 2021 taxes are filed in 2022 and then reclaim your stimulus.
