Wrong address on return

We’re a military family. When the husband did taxes for this year it auto filled our last duty stations address instead of our new one.

Does anyone know if that will delay a direct deposit?

  A letter would be a pain. Well, we are weeklies so I guess I’ll see tomorrow if we have a DDD. Hope so.

  But god forbid if u got a letter from irs it might take longer if it went to wrong address by mistake?

  No it won’t in my experience
  This year we used our old address to file then we moved and we have a DDD for 2/26

  Can’t see why it would. Direct deposit goes to an account /card. It could effect, paper checks/all mail informing you of anything related to your return/refund.
