Is there a difference when the status says received and being processed vs received and being reviewed? There’s nothing else besides that no tax code or further information and my tax transcript has a 150 code and negative balance of what I’m supposed to get. I did file my amended return because I forgot to add a 1099 and additional W2 so there is a 971/977 code saying that was forwarded for processing. But I was told filing an amended return wouldn’t effect my original return so I’m just extremely confused. I need that money and was counting on it. I’m an EITC/CTC filer so just trying to figure out what to expect so I don’t get my hopes up too high. Plz help!!

From what a rep at HRB has told me, it’s best to wait until you get your refund back before filing an amended return. I needed to do the same thing but was told to wait. Idk if they may have anything to do with the delay.
