WMR UPDATES FEB 20-21 NO BS ZONE

New thread for those that are SICK of reading through miles of BS and just trying to get some serious info about updates and topics related to their refund situation.

My WNR status: “ HAS BEEN RECEIVED AND IS BEING PROCESSED” i will immediately post updates as soon as I receive them. I’m a pather that’s waiting like everyone else.

@missy It sounds like your refund process is going according to most if us that’s awaiting this BIG UPDATE TONIGHT. You would know if you had an offset because you would’ve gotten several notices by mail because I sure did. I hope you’re at peace when you get you DD tonight. Oh, yeah I got mine already! missy everyone has got their refund except u…..lol but srsly call the offset number. it will tell u if u owe. also alot of us filed real early and are waiting patiently with no info. is no news good news with the irs? sometimes but i suggest checking ur transcripts. i ordered mine to ensure my return is looking in good order, not bc i need the money. i have coworkers who say they got emails from whatever company did their refund and were given estimated dates of 3/5. i think thats pushing it but who knows….. i only need to know if they need more info since its a first yr claiming my daughter. hopwfully were just waiting at the stoplight like wverybody else. bc that means its still comin

@missy I have a tiny offset too and i know for a fact that’s not why our refunds are delayed. From my experience last year having an offset actually moves the process faster(you know the ole quick to take but slow to give thing). My offset is less than 200 but I just found out that they’ll only take 51.00 which one is crazy because the entire offset was available last refund season and TOP did the same thing. I will send the balance today though because I see the offset is not working in my favor anymore by speeding up my refund process because TOP snatched their money so quickly that i has what was left way faster than usual. I still researching but i haven’t came across anything post worthy, so until then………

don’t bother wasting time at WMR. Its slow and not accurate. Just check your card or bank for fast updates.

still on the stupid being processed message. So sick of this! It’s been almost a month!

Last yr my process date on my transcripts was 2/26 but it shows my refund date 2/14

I don’t know what the hold up is but I have all good codes

Yes sir that’s what my transcript said also I found out yesterday thru an IRS rep that is the correct day. Its always been there that’s funny to me lol

My WMR bars jut came back after being stuck in process. My DDD is now 2/25 and all my transcripts are released. One thing I noticed is the 2/25 date was on my account transcript since I filed. There were no other numbers on there but an as of date of 2/25…

Just replying because people below asked about TT…
I filed and was accepted through TT on 2/1
Updated to PATH on 2/6 (So yes, I claim the credits)
WMR updated on 2/17 to a DDD of 2/22
I paid fees up front and use a regular bank (not a prepaid card) and nothing is showing as pending yet. But, I was told my bank would not release the money until the DDD so I’m waiting for tomorrow. Hope this helps and I hope all of y’all update soon!!!

Thank you! My bank is M&T.. a local bank..I’m in Pa.. been hearing lots of Pennsylvanians are in the same boat as me.. same filing and accepting dates.. and no State refunds have been issued… just sucks!😟

I bank with USAA and they do not funds. As soon as they receive the funds they release it therefore, i wouldn’t get a pending notification.
One of my sisters on the other hand, received a DDD on 2/2 for a DDD of 2/6. The moment she got a DDD it was also showing “pending” in her checking account on the same day. She banks with Texell Credit Union. I guess it depends on who you bank with.
The IRS has announced that they are behind so you very well may get your refund deposit before your WMR ever updates which is why I check my bank every time I check WMR. Hope this info helps

Question for the people that got a DDD date.. after you got your date.. was it pending in your bank/card account? If not how many days before the deposit did it show as pending? Just hoping that even tho my WMR didn’t update and the phone message didnt.. that maybe..just maybe it will hit my acct as pending soon…. ugghhhh this waiting game sucks!!😣

I have been stuck on that infuriating message too. I was hoping for an update overnight, but no such luck. I’m slightly confused as to the WMR update times as I checked a couple of times at various times yesterday and never got the “down” message. Fingers crossed that we see good movement over the next 48 hours.

Filed 2/6 accepted 2/6 updated to path 2/8 and then to being processed 2/15, have been able to order transcripts since the 8th but no wmr update since the 15th. I’m basically over it lol.

Okay so we have to think happy thoughts today. I’ve been on an emotional roller coaster this week wondering when many of us will get “good news”/updates and also hoping that my refund came early since my DDD is tomorrow (2/22)- but so far, no such luck…. YET.
We’ve all made it through thie week and Saturday is just a few days away. A lot of you will see a change in your WMR as the IRS will be doing a ton of updating- especially for many of you who have been stuck in “still” without a DDD. I truly do feel for you all. My sis is in the same boat. But I strongly believe that between today and Saturday morning, many of you will finally be APPROVED and be given a DDD.

Keep us all posted and I will do the same as soon as my refund hits my bank account. I’m with USAA and I’ve always received mine early in prior years but this year hasn’t been the same. But I’m holding onto hope! And who knows …. it very well may come today 😁

I don’t understand why the IRS is saying that no PAThErs will get funds until the 27th. I filed 1/25 had path message then went to received and proses sing then to ddd 2/22 and funds deposited 2/20 at 5am. And I had both EIC and ACTC.. My fiance however filed before me and she is still stuck on received and being processed. We both used JH and serve card and she has credits too. Guess we’re just waiting until Saturday for that WMR update because she can’t view trans

I can’t view my transcript due to verification.
I called IRS twice earlier today with different times and they’ve both told me I had to wait until 2/27 the lastest to receive refund into my account. I’m guessing there telling all there IRS staff to tell us the same BS. After reading few disclosure on IRS site. Most or all path message people should be receiving a DDD on 2/23 which will be the big update. People I understand your pain and struggle but we have to stay positive and be patient. Everyone will get there refunds by end of next week! See below!

IRS.gov and the IRS2Go mobile app will be updated February 23 for the vast majority of early filers who claimed the Earned Income Tax Credit or the Additional Child Tax Credit. These taxpayers will not see a refund date on Where’s My Refund? or through their software packages until then.

The IRS expects the earliest EITC/ACTC related refunds to be available in taxpayer bank accounts or debit cards starting February 27, 2019, if these taxpayers chose direct deposit and there are no other issues with their tax return.
