+note+on 2.08 the hrb status said congratulations you refund is complete. The irs is preparing your refund.***each morning after i have recieved a text message from hrb “your refund deposit date is getting closer go to WMR for exact refund date.

Perfect timing concidering i was laid off 2 weeks ago after 4 years and being the bread winner for my family.

So I spoke with someone from the IRS today February 17th the representative stated to me that my tax refund will be deposited February 23rd 2017 I did have earned income credit and child tax credit she also said the wmr will update tomorrow February 18th on wmr I had the message we have received your return and it is being processed the IRS representative stated it will be updated tomorrow February 18th so no need to worry Guys.

I just got off the phone with the IRS and I asked the lady to look up my tax refund because mine says it still process the where’s my refund is not right she tells me my refund has been processed did not release it yet still holding our tax return this makes no sense it’s our money and we need it now

@Jearlybirdfiler I think most people were hoping that if they had filed that way for several years in the past and nothing had changed that they might be and exception. I know I was. And seeing as your on this website too, I would bet you are looking for info on when yours will be released as well. So try not to act so high and mighty.

Supposedly according the press release that the IRS sent out there is going to be a big update on the 18th for most of us under the Path category.

The IRS’s “Where’s My Refund?” tool will be updated on February 18 for many taxpayers who claimed the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) or the Additional Child Tax Credit (ACTC). Before February 18, some taxpayers may see a projected deposit date or an intermittent message that the IRS is processing their return. Early filers claiming the EITC/ACTC may experience delayed refunds because of the Protecting Americans from Tax Hikes Act of 2015 (PATH) Act (P.L. 114-113).

Updated Federal Today: 02/16 return received still processing. However, the expected refund amount is back. Wasn’t there with path.
Called State: 02/15 they say they can not release theirs until I’m approved for Federal because Colorado offers a “form” of EIC as well based on your Federal EIC. The CO system has not shown that I’ve even filed for over a week. They state its normal because when they pull you for processing it takes you out of the system.

I have not received my tax refund yet but my online transcripts has updated to the 846 code and has the date March 6 2017 next to it
