WMR Update: Still being processed changed to being processed – meaning?

3/8- Status changed from still being processed to we have received and now being processed

What does this mean? The bars are still missing on my end. Anyone have a similar experience?

Same thing here guys, filed feb/14 received Mar 6/ processing and will be back at a later date. Called march/20, the claimed that nothing was needed and it’s only a delay because I have an ipin and had to mail my return in but nothing further was needed. March 23/ status changed to we have received your refund and are processing. .. No bars. Just my experience.Don’t forget to update!

I also ID verified on 3/5. Received letter notifying on 3/2. Filed and accepted 2/9. Lost bars and went to “still” on 2/17. WMR updates on 3/8 to “we have received……being processed”. WMR remains the same this morning. I haven’t checked transcripts yet online…. they were blank and had been blank since I filed. So hoping when I check later this afternoon they are updated as well with 846 *fingers crossed*.

My transcripts finally updated today. Hopefully I get an update on wmr tomorrow with a ddd for next week. We shall see. I’ll let you guys know what happens. Good luck

2 everyone who’s refund is being held i say contact a tax advocate. at this point the irs is stalling and bs until their downtime to process early filed refunds. mine has been processed over a week ago. get ur transcripts

2day i contacted a tax advocate and after 3hours of being on hold i was told my refund was being held because i didn’t file all my w2s so therefore my income was underreported. irs would not admit they owe me more $. they continued 2 only claim a review

Did u have to verify or get any letters? Upto this point I still have blank transcripts but they update tomorrow. I’ll be looking for the 846 code. If you can see yours do you have the 846 code? That’s whats gonna tell you for sure it’s coming so I’ll be looking for that tomorrow and then my ddd Saturday. Good luck everyone

review by another. Transcript cycle date and processing dates shows 03/05

“We have received your return and it’s being processed” anticipating an update with a DDD

but that never came. I have been stuck on that message since 2/16.

On you there’s a video from an old irs rep answering questions. Lookup “being processed vs still being processed. Pretty much what I said in my last message is exactly what he’s saying

@Tp32 I don’t know that you can really read much into what WMR is saying. I have seen posts from so many people who got their DD and WMR never even updated. We are all just reading any little sign as a bit of hope I think!

My message changed today as well. The message your return is being processed means it will update with the next major update which is Saturday. We should get our bars back and get a ddd for next Wednesday the 14th.

Cant order transcripts online either just over the phone. What does return being posted mean?

I have had that message since 1/29 when i was accepted “we have recieved your return and it is being processed” no TT no error message nothing. I called tge irs 6 times told it was under review nothing i needed to do. Gibe it 45 days. Then was told somethig different. To give it 60 days from the 26th of feb. Called tax advocate ofgice on hold for 2 damn days and was told my return was poseted last week. Wtf does that mean. Im overly pissed today is my birthday and i wanted to go do something special for myself for a change i work all year long and the gov takes my money and trears us like this. Wtf….
