I filed with turbo tax and was accepted on 1/29. I checked WMR a day or 2 later and it showed my status and that I was accepted. Well a couple days later I enter my info and it says it’s incorrect and I have triple checked to make sure I’m entering the correct info and still nothing. I know the info is correct but everyday I check its still saying incorrect info entered and my status on turbo tax still shows accepted as of 1/29. Has anyone else ever had this happen and what does this mean? I claimed HOH and EIC and never received a path message or anything as I can not see any status or messages at all now due to it saying incorrect info. Any help would be appreciated.

@Aggravated 2019
You don’t have to sit on hold you can use the automated service and press option 2, not 1, and it will tell you if you have an offset.

March 5, 2019 at 1:43 pm #4309356kitten
Call the IRS and let them know asap bc it is a glitch.

I filed HOH with TT. It was accepted 01/22. After everyone filing way after me started to get there’s I checked WMR, my HOH status didn’t work so I went to try them all only to have Married Filing Jointly work and it says Tax Topic 203. I do not owe anything and me and my husband have been separated for almost 18 months. We have a child but due to him not being in her life I claimed her. I tired to call the treasury offset number and waited 4 hours on hold only for the call to be disconnected. Has anyone ever experienced this? I don’t understand how the WMR site shows MFJ when I filed HOH, I checked a million times to make sure!

Anyone have an update with this?
I tried to get transcripts but it says N/A. -
February 24, 2019 at 1:18 pm #4300043
If you can’t get onto WMR, try your transcripts. Or TPG. WMR is usually a day behind when your transcript updated. Mine was at least.

Try entering single instead of HOH

Accepted 2/9- Married Joint
Today 2/24- under Single still processing
My son accepted 2/9, money on the bank yesterday 😭😖
For some maybe a glitch, this is sooo frustrating.
Btw, no code too -

I’m having the same problem. Filed married joint, when I put spouse’s SSN though it says processing…

DJS86 it does that for me too. I filed hog but when I enter single for my status it actually gives me one. I wonder if this is part of the reason why I’m still processing with no ddd.

Same here Brandi. I called the IRS and the representative told me that everything was perfect on my end and the return was accepted but the IRS made a PR mistake and they are working to fix the problem and it will be resolved in 3-4 days. I filed with TT and my return was accepted on 1/28/19. I checked WMR two days later and i had a bar showing receipt of return. And four days later i received the all familiar PATH message. Then two days after that WMR couldn’t verify my information (which I triple checked). I have checked my account transcript on the IRS website and everything looks perfect. Check the cycle code and processing date on that transcript as well it gave me some insight into the process and when i should expect my refund based on that. I know that it may make you more anxious checking this and researching it but I gave me peace of mind and hope that they will process and give me a DDD soon. I was also notified by the IRS representative that I should be checking WMR, IRS refund tool on their website and calling the 1-800 number at least twice a day to check for any updates. You all are not the only ones and I know that we all will receive our redunds soon.

Changing my filling status did nothing btw. Nothing worked. Calling the automated line says the same thing incorrect info.
-
February 17, 2019 at 8:17 pm #4277054Brandy
Well last night at midnight it said I had to recertify to view my transcripts which was the only way I could see what was going on since I can’t view anything still on WMR because of this incorrect info issue. It wouldnt recognize my phone so I had to request a code be mailed to complete the process stupid thing is I did this exact thing 3 weeks ago and waited for the code to set it up. Can’t believe this so now I have no idea what’s going on. I’ve had no bad codes was just waiting on that 846.

I filed on February 21 was rejected on February 22 . Filed again on February 22nd was accepted February 23. Was able to see for about a week accepted with one orange bar. Then literally over night was shown no info found and to make sure info was correct. Ever since trying on the WMR app and website only to be told the same Make sure information is currect . I Called IRS was told to wait u til the 18th. Have no success with transcripts, only able to get “Refund is still processing” over the phone and WMR app and ONLY if I put in filing status as Single when I actually filed HOH. NO CODES or LETTERS. Filed Both credits and I actually called the IRS three different times getting the same responses with cub by Monday the 18th , one rep actually said people would be answering the phone tomorrow . I don’t believe him and I won’t call until Tuesday. Ugh 😑 idk

I hope it works out for all of us. Obviously I apologize it is doing it to you also but I guess I’m kinda glad I’m not the only one.

Mine is still doing the same thing. Nothing works. I can see my transcripts and no bad codes but no 846 either. I’m so frustrated. If I need to ID verify wouldn’t it have put a code on my transcripts?

Anyone got an update to why this is happened? Mines is showing the same thing.
-
February 16, 2019 at 11:03 pm #4274865Djs86
I thought maybe I would download the app and check and it also says info doesn’t match. After I filed I seen my status the next day and then after a couple days it says info incorrect and has been like that since then. I’m at a loss as to how to proceed now and am just hoping it is a glitch.
-
February 16, 2019 at 6:40 am #4273146WoeMe
Yeah I have tried that as well. It wouldn’t verify my info. I had an account set up set up already. Now it wants me to identify my info. It won’t recognize my credit card or car loans
-
February 16, 2019 at 6:37 am #4273140Michelle
Go to IRS.gov..get your online transcript and it will show code 846, which means approved and it will give you a ddd..It’s a 10 minute sign up and you have to verify who you are.. Good luck!!

I’m having the same issue. I called the irs a couple of days ago and was told he couldn’t tell me anything until it’s been 21 days. So I would wait until then. I filed on 1/22. I was accepted on 1/28 according to software.
-
February 16, 2019 at 12:38 am #4272656Djs86
I’m still having this issue without any luck. I have tried putting in single as status and still no info available. Anyone else experiencing this or know what I need to do? I guess last step will be to call the irs.
-
February 15, 2019 at 7:42 pm #4272232Djs86
Ok so I’m probably going to have to call them then.
-
February 15, 2019 at 6:33 pm #4272141
I called irs and actually got one who was helpful and polite and told me after she checked my info
-
February 15, 2019 at 5:23 pm #4272023Djs86
How did you find out you had to ID verify
-
February 15, 2019 at 5:23 pm #4272021Djs86
I filed head of household and just tried entering single and same thing happened.
-
February 15, 2019 at 5:19 pm #4272013

-
February 15, 2019 at 5:18 pm #4272009

-
February 15, 2019 at 5:10 pm #4271981Missmiami
Same happened to me. The information was correct. Anyway, I filed head of household. So I tried entering single and it accepted it. But it says processing which sucks.

February 15, 2019 at 12:53 pm #4271580Brandy
I was able to check it up to yesterday morning. All the info I’m putting in is correct. I didn’t have any fees so for me it’s something other than incorrect info.
-
February 15, 2019 at 12:33 pm #4271531AmiVintageSoulja
Type in the amount of refund, not the amount of refund after cosy of tax preparation.
-
February 15, 2019 at 12:28 pm #4271521Brandy
George were you able to see your transcripts then and if so did they show the corrected amount?
-
February 15, 2019 at 12:17 pm #4271502George
Entering the wrong info to often will trigger the I’d verify thing and you will have to call the IRS anyways. I had this happen to me when they corrected my refund amount on my return without me knowing.🃏

February 15, 2019 at 12:05 pm #4271479Brandy
I’m having the same issue! I’ve seen several others post the same thing. Some have called and said they had to verify identity. I can see my transcripts and so far no bad codes yet so I’m just going to wait till latter this weekend to call. I’m hoping it’s a glitch in the system. I filed and was accepted 1/28 showed one bar then went to path the following Saturday and was able to view everything until yesterday when I got up I had info doesn’t match. I did try to many times and it told me I had exceeded my limit of checking and when it did that it showed my info on the left and everything was how I filed so no idea what is going on.
