WMR/IRS2GO says wrong info after ID verification completed

Someone please tell me this just means I’m again moving through the process or something. LSS, I efiled weeks ago, got the letter indicating I needed to verify my identity. I did that, was fed the 9 weeks info and that WMR would update soon to reflect my progress through the system. Well, update it did but now my info is marked as incorrect and/or the page asking for filing date and method is pulled up.

Does this just mean I am back at the beginning of the whole refund process? I know, I know, I am likely obsessing but I originally efiled on 2/5 and it is now 3/21. I’m just looking to find out if more patience is required or if patience will cause me to not address an issue that is causing an unnecessary delay of my refund.

Anyone else experienced this?

im in the same boat i called and id verified on 3/21 after i checked wmr it saying the same thing that im putting wrong info as if they dont have my return i called a rep he said yes they have it but it might not just be showing up so i not sure and as of today im still waiting for refund

What day did you I’d verify on?

I I’d verified last Tuesday 3/13. I was of course told the whole 9 week spiel and also that I pretty much was thrown back in as literally just beginning the process. I filed 1/26 and barely got letter on 3/12 called very next day to I’d verify. My wmr info didn’t disappeared but my wording finally changed this morning to being processed.

Pertaining to your issue, If you can see view your transcripts take a look and see what codes you have. Call the IRS back and see what may be causing wmr to show no info. Unfortunately, this year it’s nothing but a waiting game and surprise moves on us.
