WMR Delayed Refund Filers

I went from 1 bar to no bars and the Delayed Processing message. Has this happened to anyone else? Has anyone received their refund after getting this message? Did you have to do anything?

@Agitated , I’m in the same boat. Filed 2/1, and got the delayed message on the same day as you. I’m confident that we will see our DDD’s very soon.

I think all of us with 971/570 cycle code will update tonight cycle code 20220705 this week is the 7th week of month 5 day business day Friday. Have faith everybody OUR $$ coming

UPDATE called finally because I filed 2/2 had 1 bar until Monday I updated to delayed message have tt152 and it shows my refund amount still. Anyways lady was rude as hell, argued that ctc and stuff was only for June to December and argued that nobody could claim the other half lol. I finally read the later and she stopped arguing, anyways she said the delayed message was because I HAVE NOT PROCESSED YET. And said to wait.

This is really frustrating. Filed and accepted on 31st and have had this message for 9 days now. n/a for transcript. CTC and 152 PATH message. You would think that with this many people having the delayed message the IRD would publish something addressing this message. People who called get different different explanations, no explanations, or are told to wait. We need changes to the IRS.

One bar up until last Friday morning, then got the delay message. Never had a Path message.
Transcripts code 766, 768 for credits, but no 846 for me. It has 570, Account action pending 3-07-22. No changes to anything. I check every day.
As of dates say 3-07-22.
Weekly cycle 05
Haven’t gotten any 971 code, either. Just left in the dark.

I’m getting frustrated and nervous with no answers.

Since we all have a delay message of basically takes our 21 days from the day it was corrected. That’s was the irs told me today. I got delay message 2/5 they correct me on 2/8 so my new accepted date was 2/9 and she told me today I should see a date by 3/5. I initially file 1/15 and accepted 1/19

Filed 2/2 1 bar and processing until this Monday, a few days before my 21 days I got delayed message with tt152 still shows my amount I’m getting can’t check transcripts never have. Surely we all aren’t in review lol

It’s interesting that we all received no PATH message and had also received the delay message 3-4 days before the 21 days.. I currently have the delay message, I had never gotten the PATH message I had 1 bar TT152 until 2/18 my as of date was 2/21/22 now I have the delay message, no bar, TT152 N/A on my transcripts. I filed on 1/29 but I don’t believe I was actually accepted until 2/1. I’m hoping this delay message is not a bad thing. I have not gone through this before.

We file joint and ours updated today on wmr. Looking it up through my husband’s ssn it’s the delayed message. Our 21st day is in 2 days. Looking it up under my ssn it says still being processed.

Is the “DELAY” normal? Could the delay be that the IRS really is back logged that much? Surely all of us here that have the delay message isn’t having our taxes reviewed longer. It’s ridiculous! I have never had trouble with getting my refund. I’ve never had the delay message until this year.

I plan on calling tomorrow just to check. I know I’ll need an adjustment. I just want to make sure I don’t have to ID verify because that holds up the process as well. I’ll keep you all posted.

It now switched over to the 2 bars and DDD, but it was the delayed message for about 7 days.

My personal experience, accepted 1/24 Pather. 1 bar until around 4 days before the 21 day mark got the delayed message. Transcripts updated Friday with 846 and DDD of 2/24. Yours could be different, but that is what happened to me.

Filed 01/25 Accepted same day EIC SO I’ma a PATHER but I never received my path message, 4 days before 21 days delayed message. Never updated this past Saturday so it’s been a week. I refuse to call it’s and mess something up 🤦‍♀️
