So I see a lot of posts about WMR bars gone and that it can mean a bad thing, especially if your refund amount is missing.

However, my amount is NOT missing. I can still see it and everything else in the left hand column.

I filed 1/22 and got accepeted 1/23. As of Tuesday, my bars dissapeared. I don’t check WMR frequently. Just 1-2 times a day, if that.

Should I be worried? The message just says they are still processing my return and will give me a DD when they can, followed by Topic 152.

P.S I can’t access my transcripts without them wanting a verification code and I can only get that through the mail.

in years past ive never seen this message. first after entering my info correctly it says “the information entered does not match our records” and prompts me to put in the date i filed and if i filed electronically , which i did then i get this message saying: We cannot provide any information about your refund. You must wait at least 24 hours after you get the acknowledgement e-mail that your tax return was received by the IRS
Please read the following information related to your tax situation:
                    Tax Topic 152, Refund Information
                    IRS Privacy Policy”

well its been well over 24 hours its actually been almost 2 weeks,. so im worried as to why they are showing me no info at all and saying i entered incorrect info? but its weird cause on the left column everything is there including my refund amount.

Greg – exact same thing for me. Bars and amount missing all this past week with TT152. Transcripts were NA until this morning, now showing code 846 with date of 2/20/20.

All I can say is, it appears most of us have the same reaction to abnormalities when dealing with the IRS, easy to expect the worst, they have given us good reason.

Bars and amount went missing this week. Woke up today and my transcripts are completed with a DDD of 02/20.
Don’t feed in to all this crap people post about it’s an audit , review or delay. Bars go missing when updates are coming. WMR will update tonight for weekly peeps
                        Hang in there it’s coming

Woke up to the same this morning however my refund amount is gone. Still have 152. I verified all my numbers and they are correct. I filed 1/27 accepted within minutes on 1 bar since 1/27 and this morning woke up to no bars and being processed. There were many of us from 1/27 stuck on one bar so I’m guessing it is updating.

Your bars being gone is a GOOD thing! Usually when they come back it will be with an update!!

@redacted, I was looking for you last week!! Glad you are back!!

Sitting in this boat this year of no bars but TT152 and can still see refund amount. I was just researching last year’s forums and right around Feb. 5, a whole lot of people lost bars. Most got them back within a week or so with a DDD. Just wanting everyone to understand that yes, you may get a letter or there may be an issue but for the most part it is just normal processing and WMR will update with a DDD.

                                        Hi Kaydence..

I lost my bars with the Sunday night, February 8th update also. I filed 1\21, accepted 1\22. Never received the Path message, like I have in the past. I have the same message as you and I can still see my information and amount in the left and I have TT152. This happens every year to people. I tried telling people that in another thread and have given up. Yes, it may mean a letter or something else but for alot of people, it is just that it is being processed and I’ll update soon. Seems most don’t want to listen to that but they listen to others who are telling them that “anyone who has this message isn’t looking good for you”. I understand that there are posters who have had individual experiences but it does not mean that their experience is going to be the same for EVERYONE who gets this message. Also, when I look at the date people say the filed and accepted, most of us with this message are within a 3-4 day range of each other. I wouldn’t be surprised if we were re-sequenced. I’m just waiting to update again and see what happens.
