Wisconsin tax refund 8-12wk msg but … Federal info

Hey all.
Filed and accepted Feb 2nd
8-12 msg when using Wisconsin where’s my refund/Wisconsin123
However, when I CALL the automated line for refund information I get ” we have received your tax return and it is being processed immediately followed by we are reviewing the information on your return, please allow up to 12 weeks…..if we asked you for more information….
I’ve received no letters in the mail. Wondering how long would it take to get a letter if I was going to get one for state.
I was able to order both tax transcripts 4 days ago…by mail….haven’t received yet.
Wondering if that matters or could they both transcripts be blank ?
Federal tax wmr info:
Filed and accepted Feb 2nd, was on processing with tax topic 152 for 4 days, been on PATH since.

UPDATE WISCONSIN REFUND
2 days ago I received a ddd for state Of Feb 23rd but received direct deposit on netspend today.
Still waiting for federal with codes

Thank you both for your response. After filing and being accepted the same day (Feb 2nd) …it took 12 days for me to get an Id verify/pin letter.
I thought it was kinda strange seeing my mother has been doing taxes for 15 years and has done mine for 13…especially since I had my children. Every single thing is the same but the children are each a year older and I had $14,000 more income than last year.
Every year my mother provides all papers / tax file as if I was her client versus her daughter…I guess it was a random pull for the protection. I’m actually thankful.
Anywho. Was able very verify the pin in 2 sec and it was done.

Under the state forums, there’s been discussion about this. Seems quite a few of us are getting the 8-12 message with no real apparent reason. I have a feeling we’ll be getting federal before state this year
