Yes, ok BUT…”Sunday: 12:00 am (Midnight) to 7:00 pm” (WMR downtime as specified on irs.gov)

Do you think this is a typo, and really is SUPPOSED to be 7:00 AM, and NOT 7:00 PM, as it is written?

I mean, c’mon 12AM-7PM is 19 HOURS, PLUS the three hours it is already down previous to midnight, makes it a grand total of 22 hours down…according to the IRS and that “PM” anyway.

La is correct. WMR tax return updates happen overnight 3am-6am Fri and Tues…so you may see changes Sat and Wed mornings. The other down times are system maintenance. At least in past years.

Major updates come mainly on Saturday’s and some Wednesday’s.

                  Update* not unsafe. Damn autocorrect.

When it says it’s down that doesn’t mean for the entire time, that is just the time in which it updates. Once it updates you’ll be able to access it even if it’s within the times they claim to be down.

But yeah there will be an unsafe tonight between the times of 9:00pm and midnight.

That IRS info for Sunday really confuses me. Do you think that:

“Our Refund Trace feature is not available during the following times (Eastern Time):
Sunday: 12:00 am (Midnight) to 7:00 pm”

is SUPPOSED to be 7:00 AM, and NOT pm as it is written?

Because if that pm is indeed correct, then it essentially means that every Saturday night at 6PM, (9PM ET) WMR goes down AND STAYS DOWN without pause for 22 HOURS!

Until it comes back up at 4PM (7PM ET) the following Sunday afternoon.

Because since it goes down again on Saturday night at
6PM-9PM (9:00 pm to Midnight ET) for three hours already, then it remains down at Sunday 12AM ET, (which is Saturday 9PM Central)….
…and stays there for NINETEEN more hours until 7PM ET?

Am I missing something, or reading this incorrectly? Or is it an error of PM should actually be AM?
