will someone who does not mind sitting on the phone for hours, call the IRS and ask them “what does the AS OF DATE on the account transcripts mean.” I would make the call myself just to ask that simple question but I am a very impatient person.

It doesn’t mean anything. Last year my first one said 2-19 then since mine was submitted for further review it kept going to the next couple weeks out. If you can order your return transcript and it has code 846 down the left column that means your refund has a release date. That first as of date should be the first 21 days they say to wait for them to do your return
