I’m not understanding why its saying that I filed my return o March 2nd and it’s also showing that same date as it’s processing on that date?

I have a cycle number of 20200705 if that helps to make it easier to understand? I filed on the 18th and accepted on the 1st day they were accepting returns. I’ve also received my state return last week and also an advance from turbo tax the day after it had been accepted.

I sincerely appreciate any possible help!

It’s only a mere few weeks. I’m sorry if anyone is having a hard time right now. Just try to hang in there! Do things as usual to pass time and these last couple /few weeks will fly by! Hobbies and just getting out w people you love or staying in doing things you enjoy – helps.

Candy rain has helped tremendously. Lol
Also, spend some time checking to see if you or family are on your states Unclaimed property list. My brother in law was, he received $2000. Not bad I’d say.

Oh, and there’s still the chance updating Sat. Remain hopeful.

          All the best ..

Jace4655, I have the same date on my transcript, not sure why. The important code is 846, and it shows a DDD of 2-20 and my wmr just updated to “refund approved” at 4 am, so I don’t know the importance of the future “filed” date.

                Filed 1/27
                Accepted 1/27

Last year my process date was 3/4 and I received my refund 2/27. Don’t worry you’ll be fine

I believe that you’re referring to your “as of” date there buddy. No issue, it’s perfectly normal.

In my codes section, it’s showing “tax return filed” 3-2-20

It also shows above that section as “processing date” as 3-2-20 also. Not sure if this is what you were referring to?

                    Thanks for the help!

                      In the exact same boat..
                      20200705 as of March 2nd

Scary though, because last year, mine said ‘As of Feb 25’ and I received my refund on Feb 27th….
I hope this doesn’t mean I’ll get it in March- damn

Not sure. My TT account switches between Filed and accepted “2/2/20” (my b’day), and “1/31/20”. Not sure. Even though there was much going on this time last yr, this yr seems an uncertain mess! Maybe the Government shut down, or, the Aliens have finally landed. Well, in Taxlandia anyway.

I’m really hoping that someone here might understand what’s going on here? I just can’t think of a reason why it’s showing that I filed 2 weeks from now….into the future?
