I’m still here, 100% prepared to receive the stimulus check before our refund, at this point I expect it’ll end up being delayed for me too lmao. I had emergency gallbladder surgery two days ago so even though my job was labeled essential, I’m off for 4 weeks so hopefully something shows up!!

I’m just wondering what people think or know… my transcripts haven’t updated in 2 weeks. I’m an 05. I only have codes 150, 806. I had to mail in 2018 tax return and it isn’t processed yet. My question is does anyone know or think that would be why my transcripts haven’t updated? Would there be a code for a hold like that? WMR says “we have your return and it is being processed” it’s been like that since I entered the system 2 Fridays ago. Any thoughts?

Filed and accepted 2/18. No letters. Called and they stated they’re verifying income. Everyone on my home except my husband has been laid off. No change to transcripts since 3/9 and no refund. We have 7 kids and my disabled brother is living with us.

I used this years address and I tried last years as well which has been the same address for all my previous years, it’s saying it doesn’t match the records, I went back through all my returns to see if I could find a spelling discrepancy or anything but nothing

I’m still waiting for my refund…got a 60 day review letter dated March 9th, filed and accepted in January, have been unable to reach anybody and can’t order tax transcripts because it’s saying the address doesn’t match it it could only be one of two addresses. I’m starting to get frustrated

@Maria I’m sorry to hear your going through this we all suffering from this pandemic but idk where you live but they aren’t allowed to put ppl out for evictions, shut off notices etc. i would definitely contact your congressman and let them know your situation

I files January 21st! I never received a letter so I just oept waiting! When I finally called they said I was under review! Havent updated at all ever since, my transcript last time I received it via mail it said received April 16th??? What is going on!! Im about to get kicked out of my apartment because all this Covid-19 stuff made my employer hire more ppl to help us out and reduced our hours! Im getting so scared my kids and I will be without a home😭

I’m terrified it’s going to get to the point of having nothing left in the stores,when all this first hit Alabama it was near impossible to find alot of stuff, soap,hand sanitizer, to,diapers,wipes,etc. But I’m guessing once they stocked up then they were ok. I’m going crazy being home to, I loaded up my kids in the car and went riding since it dosent require us to get out anywhere or be around anyone since I keep gas in the car. what state do you live in?

Our grocery stores are staying stocked for the most part (so far) the things that people are hoarding are meats, I found maybe 5 packs of meat, and Milo’s tea 😁. Other than that I haven’t had to much trouble finding stuff. We stay stocked on tp, I was buying two huge things of it every month from Sam’s club, regardless if we need it or not before all this started. So we will be ok on that end.

Hopefully for your sake they do, all states need to and fast. It’s hard on everyone, especially those with kids. My kids eat faster than I can get it in here.

@Fmhelton I’m not sure if my state has implemented the cares act yet. I’m going to have to do some more research on that. Hopefully it is. My state is known to do things last. And no my letter didn’t state why I was denied

Id gladly give my last $5 to someone who needs it! I’m not sure if I need to appeal it, it’s showing up just showing I get $0 a week, my state (Alabama) hasn’t went ahead with the cares act which allows self employed, gig works, free lancers, etc to receive payout. They are encouraging all of us to apply now but I’m assuming it’s all at a stand still until they start handing the money ($600 a week) out for unemployment once they figure out how to handle the cares act unemployment claims.

I’m not able to get transcripts. Im just keeping my fingers crossed and praying, I have $5 and some cents in my account, my unemployment claim is showing that I get $0 I’m not sure if I was denied since it is showing up though… Idk what else to do.

@Fmhelton We kinda in the same boat I F/A 2/21 lost bars 2/29 called 3/6 was told letter sent to ID got it 3/14 ID’d 3/16 changed from “still” to “being” 3/18. I’m thinking we should be the next batch going out this weekend. I ordered scripts last Friday so waiting on those

I don’t have a 6 digit caller ID number on any of my papers, I have 3 different letter and mine was to verify id. So maybe it’s just on certain letters?

after that it will ask you what year you want a description of your tax account you want to type in “2019” and after that it should give you info in deposits and day pls let me know if this is accurate mines said 4/15

Also noted you need your letter CALLER ID NUMBER IN THE TOP RIGHT SIDE OF YOUR LETTER SENT BY THE IRS SHOULD BE A 6 DIGIT NUMBER

Also if anyone needs a guidance to get to that point I can help I called the number press “1” for English then press “1”saying I received a letter entered in my social sercurity number press “1” to verify it then It then gave me “6 option” to choose from and you want to choose “5” to get to where I was ( AT THIS POINT IT MAY ASK YOU CREATE A PIN DO SO AND REMEMBER IT)

Has anyone called this 18008290922 irs number to get a detailed copy over the phone of a deposit or and update on your Tax account as of 21 days ago…I did and I had to set up a pin but got there and it says 3 different deposits going into my account 4/15 total the amount of my taxes I wonder if it’s accurat

When are the “mass” updates? It’s just got me wondering if they are going to get the money out to the ppl that already have direct deposit dates and wait to do anymore until these stimulus relief checks go out. For me I live pay check to pay check, tax return was for me to get stuff I usually can’t just go out and buy, like new beds for kids, a car I can rely on, now all this is going on since there’s no income it’s food, cleaning stuff and just essentials. 😒

Filed 1/24 accepted 1/27 path 2/15..checked transcripts 2/28 to find cycle code 0705…processing date 3/2 570 for 3/2 and 971 notice issued for 3/9. Called irs and spoke to mrs smith who told me it was 60 days review for wage verification then changed it to 45 days during the call. Finally got a TA and faxed last paystub last fri. Called monday and TA said should be in by 4/20..transcripts have never changed this whole time and wmr has always said being processed.

Filed 1/18, accepted 1/27, rec. 5017c on 218, verified and successful same day, went to being processed 2 days later, called 2 weeks later told me had to wait 9 weeks then recived a 4644c letter on 3/4 for 60 day review, wmr the same transcrpts shows return processed on 3/5, acct transcript shows 570 code at bottom with 3/23 date next to it, i have to order them through mail so i get them a week behind

Me too. We filed on March 17 via TT and accepted on 17th as well. WMR hasn’t changed. Still says it is being processed. My husband has an offset due to a student loan but we are hoping to get a full refund back due to offset relief. We are normally weekly until last year i really hope we see Approved on Sat! Hope all of us gets our refund soon.

the problem is we filed too early and our income wasn’t verified as of yet from employers. They have until the 30th to submit W2 to both parties. If you went off last pay stub and it wasn’t documented on the right form it raised a flag. Also most fruad returns are filed early so that’s where the random select comes from. I normally file sometime in Feb. Never had this problem.

Still here, no notice. And I am not calling them. They have just been sitting on their asses with returns. If you believe that many employers didn’t submit wages even though social security has until early June or July to update your wages makes no sense. I refuse to call them if I have no notice IRS code for some BS lie they wanna feed lol

Yeah I IDV on 3/16 went from “still” to “being” on 3/18. I have faith we’ll all see sumthin this week especially if they changing the game on the soft reviews and IDV’s. I’ve noticed the newer ppl that’s filing mid-late march haven’t have to do what all us Jan and Feb had to do. Keep faith alive “we got this”🙏🏽

The guy at IRS did do me a solid,was told I had to verify id in person 3/9 but couldn’t get an appointment until 4/3, a week later I received a email stating the offices were closed. I called multiple times to figure out what I could do, answers were just wait until we open, try to mail your stuff in yadda yadda yadda, I just about lost hope and the last time I called the guy took 5min and was able to verify over the phone

Cheer up, guys; it looks like the IRS has doubled down on approving and paying refunds, instead of taking calls and verifying wages. You should get your refunds soon, unless there are irreconcilable differences (on your returns).
