Who, with a 2/23 DDD, already sees their money?.. HELP ME OUT!!

So, of course, I called today and talked to a pretty nice guy who ended up looking up my account and giving me my DDD of 2/23 (I don’t know how its not 2/22 because I filed 1/12 but that’s besides the point).. So, I am stoked. I got my DDD and I know the latest that my money will be here, obviously I WANT it earlier since it has been almost 2 months, but I will take it when I get it.

My question is, I see all of these people who already have access to their funds, but are those just people with a 2/22 DDD or are some of you 2/23 DDD’ers??

Have ANY 2/23 DDD’ers got access to their funds or have a pending deposit??

Also, does anybody going through SBBT have their money and, if not, does SBBT update on Saturdays?

So, I used TT and have fees being taken out of SBBT. I assume that the money for all 2/22 DDD’s was released Last Night/This morning since there is only Sat. and Tues. to process it through (or just Tuesday if you don’t count Saturday). So they have to release it this week…Which makes me think that they may release 2/23 funds today/tomorrow because there is only 2-3 days to process it with the holiday.. If they didn’t release it today/tomorrow and wait until Tuesday, then they would only have basically 2 days to process it.

Normally, the IRS always sends it 2-3 days in advance, I don’t know why this year would be any different? What do you guys think?

Checked Republic Bank this morning at 7, nothing
Checked at 8 and showed they got my deposit, took their fees and sent my refund to my bank
Have yet to see it in my bank though

Yeah, it’s pretty frustrating. I called back and they said by law they do not have to release it. That law is ridiculous to me.

It’s really jacked up because she said they might not even release them on that day but 1-2 days after the ddd date because of processing. I wanted to do something really nice for my Anniversary this weekend because I have a babysitter willing to watch my girls and will not be available for next weekend.

This is unfortunately true. Sadly.

BANKS are covered by FDIC insurance and all ACH deposits come in with a “pay date”. That’s the date it will be made available for your use.

After the Wells Fargo debacle no bank wants to chance breaking any of the regulations and have the feds auditing them.

Your bank is answering to the government too.

Unless something unfortold happens they will make the funds available to you on the date the IRS specifies.

You need to call her back @FE, because it states “by”, it does not say this is a payment date. This is not a paycheck..they should know this and they are feeding bs…now the 23rd or 22nd is not far but why make you wait longer for money thats yours.

I have a PNC Bank account and the rep said they received but it will not show a pending deposit until my scheduled ddd which is 2/22. She said they deposit the refunds on the date the IRS note it. I explained to her people with the same deposit dates receive their refund as soon as the treasury sent them. She explained to me that only happens with prepaid debit cards because prepaid accounts rarely have those rules. This sucks

My issue is hopefully they follow their own protocol thats posted on their site. They say they set it up soon as they get a prenote which honestly should have been yesterday ..not sure yet, will give it to about 8am pst due to sbtpg opening at 7am pst

I believe ACH can hit anytime. The question is if IRS sent the funds to Treasury yesterday for disbursement

Treasury is closed on Saturday and Sunday and Monday is a holiday. If it wasn’t released yesterday, earliest it would be released is Tuesday 2/21
