I filed through TT on 1/24 accepted right away. Can’t get into transcripts, tells me to call the identity hotline which I did and was told that an error was encountered and it will be 4-8 weeks from 2/2. I feel like I am in a sinking ship. Are there any other early filers left out there who got this response?

@kara Yes, Beer and chips will do…I hope you have enough to last 6 weeks as that is a long ways away :(

I can see if we made the mistake but something on their end is causing us to wait this long is inane!

I didn’t know what I should bring to this party. Hope beer and chips are cool.
Soooo….yeah I was given the 4-6 week crap since dealing with the identity verification fiasco. Two weeks have almost passed. I’m kinda tempted to file later and by paper next year since this e-file nonsense isn’t all its cracked up to be.

Ihad to call 18008291040 and go through the busniess taxes option and kept hitting other to talk to someone after 35 minutes that told me my taxes had a 1471 code so i have been on a no post status since 2/5 because of identity protection. I did nothing wrong but they stopped processing cause they thought i was a victim when i wasnt the agent put a note to put it through to finish since i confirmed everything was right and of course she gave me the 6-8 week shpeal. Good luck everyone. I had no transcripts or updates after being accepted 1/30.

My rep told me straight up that he was reading from the description he was supposed to give for that department, 4-8 weeks.

Did anyone get a 8-16 week wait period? I seriously think they just give us random information that is generated by an app or something. Im so frustrated.

Filed/accepted 1/22. Bars disappeared the next week. Transcripts still N/A.

I called Wednesday and spoke to a very helpful gentleman who told me the same thing, that my return was in the error resolution department and that from 2/2 it could take up to 8 weeks.

                      I did..file 1/15 Acc 1/16
You would think the proper thing to do would be to fix your error quickly and efficiently…not delay 4-8 weeks.
                      Can I charge them interest?
