Was told today I needed to ID verify today. They also said letter was mailed beginning of February. Filed 1/29. No letter received. Anyone else waiting for the letter?

I filed and was accepted on 2/1/2018. WMR Updated originally to 1 bar, and ‘received’ but on 2/10 (or thereabouts) it updated to the generic processing message with all of my info on the side, and it has stayed there ever since. So Yay Me. lol.

I will say this, and I think it is important: If anyone is reading this, People should be aware that the IRS is not nice, kind or there for our convenience. No one should expect to ever get money from them. It is not a good idea to depend on getting anything back from them, it just sets you up for disapointment.

Don’t get me wrong, I would enjoy having this money now, too. But I never expect or depend on the Government to be anything other than cumbersome, obstructive, and un-sympathetic.

I see a lot of people have those non-traditional pre-paid debit cards. What I did years ago when we were first starting out, was we would take $30.00 out of our paychecks, and have it direct deposited into an account that we didn’t have a debit card for. If we needed that money in an emergency we always had a couple hundred dollars sitting in the bank if we need it. We just had to go into the bank to get it, and we couldn’t use a card to access it.

I know a lot of you are rolling your eyes and mumbling, but trust me, if *I* can do that, anyone can. I am the absolute worst with money. The Absolute worst. If I didn’t have my bills come directly out on auto pay, my bills would never get paid.

This is, of course, just a suggestion. It may work for some, and not for others. I understand that everyone has different set of circumstances.

                    I received mine today. :(

I called and did the verification. The lady was very nice, said that it (the refund) can take *up to* 9 weeks, but that normally it is much faster than that. When I asked if she could narrow it down, I got the Standard boilerplate response, and was told to check WMR for updates.

My question is this: Has ANYONE who has completed an ID Verification seen any movement on WMR, or any other information?

@ Igor Amburg, sorry for kinda hijacking the thread. I am just trying to get some answers.
