Which Days of the Week Does WMR Update? To be clear

Which days do filers see updates on WMR?

I’m not getting into how one knows if theyre a daily or weekly in the system.

I know Saturday mornings are one of the days we see updates. What are/is the other day(s)?

@Ash technically I will be PATH too since I also claim the ACTC however I’ve been stuck at one bar since the 28th I believe (filed the 26th). No worries I s’pose. I enjoy my refund but I am not in dire straits for it. I just can’t understand how one is weekly or one is daily.

So I went back on my bank records and checked

2013 – Deposit on Thursday 02/07
2014 – Deposit on Monday – 02/10
2015 – Deposit on Friday – 02/06
2016 – Deposit on Wednesday – 02/03
2017 – Deposit on Wednesday – 02/01
2018 – Deposit on Wednesday – 02/14

Filed 01/28 through expresstaxrefund as I do every year.
I do NOT have EIC, ACTC but stuck at one bar.
Is it possible to update tonight with a Friday DD date than if I am weekly and not just update Fridays?

That has been the pattern every year since I have seen for the last 5 years since I started paying attention. I agree, there isn’t a rhyme or reason and it should update everyday. I’m currently on PATH so I won’t update for a while still. I understand why they enacted it, but it still screws over people who are honest unfortunately.

@Ash so how would know if they are weekly/daily? Seems rather bizarre for the IRS but I guess there is a method to the madness. Or just madness

If you are weekly, it is Tuesday night into Wednesday morning and Friday night into Saturday morning. Dailies can update any day of the week overnight.
