Where’s My Payment posts old account number

As the title suggests, the Where’s My Payment tool has an Emerald Card account that is no longer in use.

The Emerald Card website, however, has a notification that the stimulus will drop into the correct account.

These kind of bugs are to be expected if you know how these systems work.

Mine did the same, only to my bank account that I still have, but hardly use. It’s annoying, because now I’m thinking that the IRS is shorting me on my stimulus due to the amount of dependents I claimed last year vs. this years return.
