No money. No information. Nothing. Filed on February 1st and still in processing. Who the hell can you call about this? I want my money. I’ve paid plenty over the years.

I just told them when I filed, and that I had to verify my identity and the IRS said it could take up to 8 weeks, but since it was stuck processing I wasn’t eligible to receive my stimulas money either and I was just looking for someone to help me bc I’m not working and have 3 young kids.

I got a DDD for 4/22 but this my help someone. About 4 days ago I reached out to United States senator Richard Shelby, asking for help with my refund, I had filed in January and it was stuck processing after I idv and it was holding up my stimulas money. They put someone in contact with me today willing to help me, I emailed her back and let her know I finally updated to a DDD. But someone may still be able to use this information.

Madampeaches, I hope the IRS will make an exception regarding the 30 days and/or will reopen before they expire. But even if the 30 days expire, once you prove you have made a valid filing, the IRS **can’t** keep your money. Also, read the last section of your letter regarding TAS.

So how do i verify my id if i can not get in my account because it says i have to verify information and doesn’t recognize my student loan account number……. Keep in mind it says i have 30 days and no one is there to answer phones?

I filed 4-1 and accepted same day…got ddd 4-27 with fees being taken out of refund with sbtpg hoping it deposits tonight….still waiting for DD on my cashapp….also still no stimulus🤷🏼‍♀️

I was beyond excited. I had to jump on here to see if anyone else that has been waiting like me also received theirs. I was definitely praying that more people had updated than I am seeing. I hate that there are still people stuck with no answers. I’m definitely sticking around to try to help some of the people still waiting!!

Alex, the 570 TC has to do with something other than IDV. I had to IDV; after I did, they began to process my return. My TS has no 570 or 971 TCs. After you IDV’ed, they started processing your return and found something else to hold it up for.

I actually didn’t call them at all. I went ahead and faxed in a 911 form without any prior contact with a TA. You can find the fax number for your local TA here:

Hey yall! I FINALLY GOT MY UPDATE!! Been lurking on this forum for a while as I have been in the same situation. I just got off the phone with my Tax Advocate. Just want to share with yall my journey.
