I’d suggest getting one of those instead if you’re plunking the money down on an Alienware. At least a desktop you have more ability to upgrade/customize them.

The hubby and I made a list, Needs and Wants, once the Needs list is fulfilled, we’ll focus on our wants and see what is realistically feasible. My daughter is getting back like 8K by herself with 2 dependents and she has single income of about 41K. But twe live in one of the poorest counties in the state of West Virginia and the median income here is like 14K so for the regional demographic she lives a pretty high class life on a middle class income.

New tires for the car and I run a cat sanctuary so I’m spending a ridiculous amount of money on four litter robots. In the long run, the money I save on litter alone (they cut your litter bill in half) will mean they’ll pay for themselves in a year. The rest will sit for emergency vet bills and such and more spay/neuter of the drop_offs that people so graciously leave on our doorstep.

I’m debating on new tires for my car. The treads are not too low but I have a slow leak in 3 of them! Other than that, I’m going to get some new clothes for myself and my son, maybe take him out somewhere fun for a day (he is 4), and maybe get a nice steak from Outback.
