Anyone know what happens if they don’t give you the full amount? I had a baby in 2020. I got my 3rd stimulus for myself and my other two kids, but one for the baby was missing. Anyone know what we’re supposed to do about that?

@MOMMAJESS33 If your 2020 return isn’t filed and processed at that point, the IRS will use your 2019 return. If your 2020 return is filed and/or processed after the IRS sends you a stimulus check, but before July 15, 2021 (or September 1 if the April 15 filing deadline is pushed back), the IRS will send you a second payment for the difference between what your payment should have been if based on your 2020 return and the payment actually sent based on your 2019 return.

What they’re sending in July is $300 a month up to $3600 and we will request the rest of the $3600 on 2022 taxes. I’ll try to find the article I read this on yesterday, but that’s what the child credit is for, now as for the missing amount on your stimulus what the other user said about the recovery rebate is what you’ll need to do. Unless they decide to add something new after this stimulus for those of you who didn’t receive it all yet.

              Duh!

They are suppose to correct it and send the rest out in July sometime. Not holding my breathe.

If you don’t get it sometime this year, you can claim the missing stimulus when you file taxes next year. The recovery rebate credit. It may get corrected before then though.
