Google is giving me different/confusing answers.

  What pp said.
  This happened to us last year over missed stimulus money. They took off the amount we claimed and sent the rest.

  Second one I believe is what you will get then you will get letter stating what adjustments the irs made to your return.

  The first one is tax preparer amount, the second is the irs amount. I’m assuming the second is your refund after they looked over your tax file and made changes.
