            Just because you changed to path message does not mean your approved necessarily. In the past year I have seen people with a Path Message update to take action,their DDD or a code. It just means they are done with their part until the “hold by” date. At that time it picks back up and if everything was fine you will get your DDD and if there was an issue you will update to take action or a code and normally a letter will be mailed with a control number that you must have in order to rectify whatever issue there is.
            Last year I had the Path message and on 2/12 it updated to letter sent. 7 days later I got a letter requesting me to ID verify, however when I called to verify she already showed my deposit date and I didn’t need to.

              Joey, to answer ur question, last year when the it’s where’s my refund switched to path act msg it meant u were approved, not sure if it’s same this year,mine switched to. That would be a fast approval compared to last year

                It means that you’ve had some sort of credit on your return…..CHILD TAX CREDIT (ECT.)…..Which means your return was accepted but is being held pretty much until the second week of. Feb…..I would expect a refund between Feb. 16th-23rd

                    Honestly I can’t say. I would assume yes based off of my own experience last year. I’m still waiting on my transcripts to arrive so I can view. My assumption would be many Path deposits are going out between 2/12 – 2/15

                      I’m assuming you got that path message because being accepted on the 29th puts you right at the 21 days for the typical return. So that’s an FYI as to why the hold up

                        Does this mean my refund was approved?

                          @lexky84

                          Path message means because of certain credits you are getting like EIC, ACTC that refunds won’t be released until mid-late February.
                          Last year I received my refund on 2/15/17 after having path message for 3 weeks.
