We filed our tax return on 2/1 via TaxAct and it was immediately accepted. All last week and up until today, we were on the first bar on WMR saying that our return had been received and was being processed. This morning when I checked WMR, the bars are now completely gone and it just says “Your tax return is still being processed. A refund date will be provided when available.” It also still shows topic 152 and our refund amount is now gone as well. We still have N/A on our 2014 transcripts. We do know that my husband has an offset of approximately $500 from taxes that he owes from the previous year, but our return is almost $5000, so more than enough to cover that. We are also making our annual repayment on the 2008 first time home buyer credit, but TaxAct already deducted that from our refund. We have no dependents. Could my husband’s offset delay our return a bit? Are the bars on WMR disappearing a good sign? We are really hoping for a DD soon as we have plans for our refund!

We filed 1/20 accepted 1/21 no bars no transcripts no nothing tax topic dissapeard no holds owed we filed through h&r block they said our money is expected tomorrow 2/11 i just talked to a nice woman with irs after being on hold about 2hrs long and she said everything on our end is fine although there is a dead cycle for anyone who filed the first two weeks may have gotten caught up.this can include tax return filed from the 20th-22nd. If you dont have any code please do not worry and be patient. If also your status is showing still processing your 2014 transcript will not show. So long story short if you file early you basically can be waiting longer. Check your status after 3am.

I’m glad to know that we’re not the only ones! If I remember correctly, I think this also happened to us last year and it took about 6 weeks to get our refund! I’m REALLY hoping we don’t have to go through that kind of a wait again this year!

I am in the same boat except I do not have any offsets. I filed on 1/27 and my WMR bar and refund amount disappeared 2/5/15. I called the Tax Advocates yesterday and was told to call back on 21st day if I hadn’t heard anything but “i should by then.” The waiting game sucks!!
