So I have spent all day today on the phone. The irs says they sent my refund to the bank on 2-16. My bank never got it. So I called sbtpg and they said it is still processing. They won’t give me a day it will be released, but turbo tax has already been paid by them. Is it normal for them to hold your money for 6 days after my ddd?

I just got off the phone with them again and they said it is getting escalated and if I don’t see any money by Tuesday then to call back. I asked what is going on and they wouldn’t tell me. I asked how turbo tax got paid but I haven’t and I was told to wait till next Tuesday. That’s almost two weeks since the irs sent my refund wtf. Anyone know what I can do. Tt is no help they say call the bank and the bank says call sbtpg

That’s complete and utter 🐂💩. I’d call TT though I’m sure they’ll point the finger at SBTPG. Which I get since they have the money and are holding it for whatever unfounded reason. But my thing is the agreement was made with TT so they should be able to help. I’m so sorry this is happening to you!!

If you call turbo tax they might be able to help. After all shit like that will cause them to lose clients

They can’t just hold it I’d be pissed too. You should be able call whoever is processing it or had it last and have it traced. That’s bullshit

Yes my transcripts say 846 2-16 and my where’s my refund now says
Your refund was sent to your bank on February 16, 2022 for
direct deposit. If you have not received your refund, take the following steps
Check with your bank to determine if your refund has been
received;
Verify the routing and bank account numbers on your
electronically filed return are correct; or
Call your preparer to verify the routing and bank account
numbers are correct.

What is your actual DDD from IRS? Meaning, was the 846 code 2/16?

If your DDD was 2/16, I don’t think that’s normal for SBTPG to hold it for that long. But I’ve read SBTPG is on a whole other level this year. First time using them and never again. I have a DDD of 2/24 and now I’m seriously anticipating lengthy delays if you’re still waiting with a 2/16 DD.
