      Digging through my posts last year:

      Tax Season started on 1/19
      I got my W-2s at midnight the morning of 1/22
      I filed on 1/22 at 12:30 AM
      I got accepted on 1/22 at 9AM
      I got my DD into my checking account on 1/29

      This year:

      Tax Season started on 1/23
      I got my W-2s this morning, 1/23
      Filed by 8:45AM
      No more movement yet

      I’m wondering if things might move fast again this year, or if I’m screwed because I filed on Monday (this year) rather than Friday (last year).

                  I didn’t have any credits or anything. The only non-standard thing I reported was $67 in student loan income I paid throughout 2016 which I wasn’t even eligible to claim due to my salary. But that’s been the case for years anyway so that wouldn’t impact me.

                    I was accepted almost immediately. No EIC, only an education credit. Filed with HR Block online freefile.

                          Same here. Last year I was accepted almost immediately. I submitted mine today and haven’t heard anything yet.

                            Last year was an absolute mess.

                            So far so good (fingers crossed and knocking on wood) this year.
