Fixing my furnace & paying off ridiculiously high electric bill created by running electric heaters… for two months… during the coldest winter on record in like 40 years. 😐
New clothes for the kids. Pay off the last few hundred dollars on that credit card before the same as cash period ends. Something fun or special-a non necessity item-for each of us-I have something around $200 in mind for myself but the kids will be under $100 since they’re getting clothes. The rest goes into an interest earning savings account to pay for the next thing that breaks, leaks, explodes, gets lost, stolen, wears out or stops working. And hopefully it will last long enough to make it till next year. Didn’t quite work out that way this year but it certainly did make a difference.
Not very exciting but it will feel great to have my debts paid off & to be done with the electric heaters. Single parent life-gotta do what you’ve gotta do. 🤷‍♀️
