Woke up to my refund even though i used the wire routing number it was still accepted! Im scared to spend it in case wells Fargo wants to send it back….

Can we call well Fargo n can they us if they see anything pending like everybody else seems to be doing with their banks? I have a feeling that Wells Fargo you can’t do that

rabbaroo is right. My pay check gets deposited shortly after 3:30 am every time

Wells Fargo’s HQ is on the west coast, nothing gets processed by them for deposit until 12am PST (3am EST). Last night this was the case with many people on here with refunds. If your DDD is 2/23, it’ll be there shortly after 3am.

Yes there are different routing numbers for Wire Transfers vs Checking or Savings accounts… Also the routing number will be different depending on what state you opened your account in.

I used the wire transfer routing number instead of the dd number i think it will be rejected but we’ll see. I also have a ddd of 2/23.

My DDD is 2/23 and SBBT bank received my funds today but says allow 1-2 business days for it to be deposited into my account. I hate that it is sitting right there but i can’t get to it lol. Hoping it hits EARLY morning tomorrow as i have some things i need to get for the baby i have coming any day now. I use a prepaid card, and always have. my direct deposit from my job always hits 2 days early, so i was hopeful this would too.. Not the case, i guess :(

Wells fargo posts on the exact date. roomate has them and his ddd was 2/22 and he woke up to it this morning, lucky son of a gun. Mine is 2/23 and still waiting

I just google searched and found a FAQ section on Wells Fargo about tax refunds.

They state “Tax refund direct deposit dates depend on your bank or other financial institution. If your account is with Wells Fargo, we will add your direct deposit amount to your available balance on the same business day we receive your deposit from the IRS. The cut off time is 4:00pm Monday-Thursday and 6:00pm Friday, local time.”

So if this is correct, those of us with a DDD of 2/23 will be receiving our money by tomorrow morning. I wouldn’t check around midnight, my payroll checks don’t normally hit until about 4am but after 4am, I will be checking like crazy.

Everyone with Wells is getting their refund on the exact DDD date listed on the WMR site.

My DDD was 2/22, got mine today sometime this morning before 7:00AM Pacific Time.
