Filed and accepted 1/29
Had one bar/being processed until 2/7
2/7 changed to “STILL BEING processed”
Had TT152 but NO amount
Checked my transcripts daily since 2/7 and they were N/A & 2019 Wage & Income said “no return filed”
Woke up today: WMR hasn’t changed. It says “STILL BEING processed”
HOWEVER, transcripts are now there & they show refund being sent 2/20/20!!!!

THANK GOD FOR THIS FORUM!!! If I had not come here I never would have thought/known to check my transcripts!

Also for those who have said “It’s ALWAYS” bad when you get the “STILL BEING processed”…. Please just sit on your hands and resist the urge to type sh*t like that! You have made me a disastrous WRECK for a week for NO REASON!!!

I’m can only assume my return was just resequestered because I do not have any bad codes! 😊😊

I’ll update when/if WMR changes & I get DDD.

I’d say you’re more than likely correct on those dates as the first waves most definitely. I hope I’m included in them with ya there lol.

The bulk of deposit dates are always Wednesday and Friday if I remember correctly.

Everyone’s situation is entirely different! That’s what’s crazy about it all. Last year bunches of issues were those damn ID verify papers that got sent out. Then there was a TON of review letters that went out!

As for me, I’ve done all that already. I went back just to read and go through all the old stuff and sure enough, lots of repeats 3 years in a row. But it could be anything.

Like poor Margie, she was audited like 2-3 years in a row, I mean why???? Who does that to someone???

Hell the audits were thrown out early last year, they were wrapped up before I even got my refund! Last year was the first time I’d seen them send out audits before summer!

There just is nothing that’s at all routine about the IRS.

Brett, you definitely more than likely are of the first batch! That’s a long time to be sitting on Path, I went back and re-read many threads that I was the start commenter on last year, and most sit on path about a week to 10 days it looked.

Also, if you go back and read, going to path quickly turned out to be a BAD thing, for a lot of people! I can’t see where I ever even got the Path Message last year, I didn’t think I did. My friend though, that got PATH, got his refund very timely after the 2/15 everyone updated last year.

Either way, much as you said, refund or not my kiddos are fine, plenty of money in the bank and food on the table and they’re both happy. I got kinda use to getting my refunds in the fall anyway lol.

I definitely have an offset for taxes owed to IRS, but it is only 25% of my refund amount. I have had tax offset (owing to IRS) before, but still it has never taken this long.

People here have real questions and want answers to the impossible and we are all here for support for each other. It would be a miracle if any of us Pathers get it earlier than expected. Told you no need to freak out only start freaking out in like a week or two if you have no movement after the path lift. We got people still trying to say they got there deposit and are pather they are LIARS!!!!! Computer algorithm wont let anyone with path to push thru should just stop thinking you might get lucky slide thru cracks blah blah your prob fine and just waiting for the lift bud if you havnt received correspondence in the mail that the irs is requesting more info I’d chill and not worry. Yes. I’ve had a student loan offset in the past. As soon as the IRS approves your payment, they send the info to the treasury for your offset to be paid off. Also with my experience it did not delay my return.

I have nothing to worry about if they ya know, review damn thing for what would be the 3rd year in a row. But I did file on my own, so I guess there’s that possibility of an error there.

We are still sitting with blank transcripts saying “No tax return on file” or some crap like that. We have an as of date of 2/24 so we’ll probably update on the 17th. Return transcript and Record of Account Transcript say N/A. WMR still at one bar with 152 code.

I just couldn’t stay up for all the fun lol. Hope y’all got some good news! I did read some of the comments and here are my thoughts…

I have been a pather since the beginning. Is it a pain? Yes, it is. But, i have ALWAYS received my refund just like they said I would….AFTER FEB 15th. WMR has updated to the tax topic 152 and then nothing else until AFTER I have already had my refund. I have filed with TT, Jackson Hewitt and H&R Block and have received the same results. IRS Transcripts are and remain to be the best way to find out your DDD as a pather. But they will not update with that date until AFTER your processing date that is stated on the transcript. History always repeats itself and with that being said, path dd should start the week of the 19th.

This is MY experience and research. I am an Accountant, but NOT and I repeat NOT a tax accountant lol. Feel free to sharevny experience with others and ask questions if you like.

I was an EA and filed taxes for a long time. Gave it up in 2013 to pursue another career path. I should remember more than I do, but 7 years is s long time!

Isnt there anyway you can add his name to your account like maybe in the settings. I know i had to change my mailing adress on mine.

I had my girlfriend ad mr to her bank account one year so I could get direct deposit instead of paper check. If its a bank but just online maybe you can ask customer service to add him as an authorized user of yo i r card. My prepaid card lets me do that and even sends a card eith their name on it.

I remember reading in other threads that the the bank accounts need to be in the tax payers name, or else redund will be rejected and if rejected person will then receive a paper check and that, may take many additional weeks to receive. 😳

I was stuck in that 1541 code last year….was told by irs my as of date was the date that they had to process my return 3/4/2019….refund was issued 3/11/2019….just stating what was told to me by irs…who knows….as long as i get mines idgaf

I had a GreenDot card that I don’t use anymore, that I gave him to use to have his refund direct deposited. I am now reading that GreenDot will reject his deposit because the card is in my name. I wouldn’t worry too much about your new status. Usually what can delay your federal refund is a non reported change of address, if that’s not your situation, you should be in the clear. Status can change from year to year.

I stopped given greedy HR Block a percentage of my refund 5 years ago! Turbo Tax has changed the way I looked at tax season.
I’ve never had an issue with Turbo Tax since I started filing my ow. Taxes. I learned 3 years ago to pay my fees upfront, thanks to this forum! 😊🙏🏽

Someone earlier said the transcripts update the day before wmr updates. No idea if they had a tent pole up their *** or if they were right. Im a PATHer as well. What’s your cycle code this year? If it’s a 05 you’re a weekly like me, anything else, to the best of my knowledge is daily. I also alternate, last year I was an 05 according to irs. I only know Bc I asked on one of my 734 phone calls to them lol.

In all honesty, I’m not sure! My mind just drew a blank lol. But I do believe, the update is for WMR for those of us that can’t check our transcripts. But I could be wrong.

I filed on Tuesday, so I’m not honestly looking for any updates yet my way, but more here for support of others, that I can possibly help out along the way this year. Hopefully we ALL have an easy and pain free tax Season!!! I know I’ve had enough migraines the last 2 years over the irs to last the rest of my life lol
