Accepted 2/14. No 2nd or 3rd Stim, EITC and Child Tax Credit, New Baby Nov 2020, + Claimed Recovery Rebate. Haven’t filed since 2018. ZERO income, have kids, wife and undergoing chemo, so i needed this money before Feb.
Stuck in processing, called IRS 2x both times basically said I was in ERS wait 10 wks.
Also got tax advocate via congressman and never was updated with that either.Today on phone with IRS:
She said Verbatim that “you were in the 10 week status, now you’re in the 3-4 day status” keep checking WMRToday I emailed advocate:
Response today Verbatim was “Your case was originally under “Status 900” review, which meant it was in a somewhat extended review process. Now, it is in a “Status 100″ review process, which means that within 7-10 days or so”I feel like this just another way of saying I’m still in 10 week mode, just without saying it. Am i still in 10 week mode?
Should i put any stock in the fact that i was supposedly in code 900, and now in code 100? Or that im a 3-4 or 7-10 dayer?
Or would that just be getting my hopes up for nothing?
Should i view any of this as progress?Thanks- first time poster.
