I can’t remember if in past years, if once my transcript was available, if it always showed an 846 code, or not. But, I had always just assumed that once you were able to pull your transcript, A DDD was imminent, is this not correct?

The codes I’m currently showing are 150,

      766 (credit to my account),

768 (EIC) Also, the amount shown besides the 766 and 768 code is exactly what i am expected to receive.

But, i also have a new one that I hadn’t ever seen before…. 806 (w-2 or 1099 withholding). Based off of what Google old me, a 806 code means I have a credit for withholding that was taken throughout the year, so doesn’t seem like its anything serious?(I’m assuming weekly payroll taxes?)

So, I guess my questions are…

1st. Besides people I’ll who has an offset issue, are there people who will see their transcripts become available, and still not receive a DDD once WMR updates? I had always assumed that unless you had some other preexisting issues that was going to keep your taxes, once transcripts become available, it’s basically a done deal for a DDD?

You’re part of the PATH act since you have EIC. PATH isn’t lifted until after the 15th. Some PATHers got lucky and got a DDD today for 02/16 but I expect you (and a lot of other PATHers) will get your DDD next Friday if you’re a weekly.

Okay so the 806 is just the amount that was withheld from your weekly paycheck – nothing to worry about at all. As for your transcripts – it’s totally normal to still have to wait for your DDD (and not have it be something bad like an audit, wage/income verification, ID verification, etc). As long as you don’t see any bad codes such as 971 (notice issued), there’s nothing to worry about!
