WA Working Families Tax Credit

Washington State doesn’t have a forum slot here in the State Forums so I made this post for other WA taxpayers who qualify for Working Families Tax Credit.

I filed 1/27 and have seen the following message since February 8th, if I remember correctly:

“Application Under Review

We are reviewing your application. You will be contacted if we have any questions or need additional information. Applications are reviewed in the order received. Our goal is to process applications and issue a decision within 90 days.”

My status on their website never changed, but I got a direct deposit in my account at 10:30pm in my traditional bank. Still shows application received but I have the money!

Mine still says application received even though it was sent through TurboTax in early January. Not sure what’s happening.

I checked mine this morning and it says “processed, refund, you’ll receive a letter about this decision within 10 days” so it looks like it’s finally happening! Despite signing up for DD last year they mailed me a check, so idk how fast the deposits come in. I’m just relieved to see something other than them reviewing my application

Still no update for me. Just says application received. It doesn’t even say it’s under review or anything. Anybody else have an update?

I just checked my status on the app and it still says Application Received. No movement on that one yet. I got my DDD for my federal return, but haven’t gotten the money yet. I’ll see if it’s about two weeks after this year too.

Applied January 27th still nothing last year was about 2 weeks wait time for me as well.

This is me too! I applied like Jan 6 and no movement. Last year, it came like two weeks after my federal return refund.
