My USPS informed delivery is showing a letter fr the IRS today. I filed 2/10, accepted same day. WMR has been “Received and is processing”, and then almost two weeks ago, changed to “STILL processing”. Transcript shows 570 code for 3-16 and no other codes after that but I have a letter coming today. Anyone else with access to transcript receive a letter without it reflecting on your transcript? I thought transcripts always updated. Now I’m not so sure..

@everyone yeah I pray they don’t shutdown IRS & the postal service because I still need to verify. I’m a night auditor for the Hilton and we can’t accept any outside reservations I been having to cancel so many bookings. The NBA on hold hell I just read Disney World/Land on shutdown. This is one interesting beginning of the year

@ValerieOK well lucky for his mom and I. She works days and I work nights so thank god we don’t have to worry about who watcha him cause I don’t trust ppl while I’m their care. As far as refund I gotta still ID verify so I hope it comes tomorrow no later then Saturday…thank you for being so Concerned it’s too much going on this year IRS Corona etc etc

Yep, my kids here have spring break next week and they were sent home with books and technology in case of closings after the break. Colorado State University started online classes versus in school classes today.

Oh my gosh! I hadn’t heard that. Do you have someone to watch him for you while he’s out? I hope you can work something out that is easy and doesn’t cost you an arm and a kidney. I’ve never been so grateful mine is 16 and doing online school this year, but I definitely remember the days of childcare and the expense. I hope your refund comes through this week, that would help alot I’m sure!!

Thank you, I appreciate your response 😊 I haven’t gotten anything like that. I hope this means things are starting to move on your return and that you will have your refund very soon! I mean obviously they’re saying there’s nothing wrong and nothing you need to do (but wait 🙄) so hopefully that means yours is being processed. Fingers crossed for you!! 🤞🤞🤞

So my son comes home to tell me hey daddy you know we don’t have school for 3 weeks? I’m like wym? He says yeah cause ppl getting sick!!! I call the school and sure enough this outbreak is beginning to take over. I hope the post office don’t shutdown like everything else😫

I apologize, the 2nd letter after the 4464c (the one that puts the 570 on our transcripts) was the one about opening an account on irs.gov. The code for that one did not show up on my transcript, just the 570. I haven’t gotten anything since.
Weird that you’ve received both and now another one, but no codes on your transcript. I haven’t a clue what that one could be. Like you, I have the 3/16 date next to the 570 code and nothing else.

Yes. I’ve read some people on here receive the 971 code on their transcripts, but it ends up referring to the letter they received when they opened up an account on the irs site to access their transcripts. I got the letter, but no 971 code or anything on my transcript reflecting they issued that letter.
