I filed 1/20. Irs said it was accepted 1/20. I called the IRS this morning. This is the 3 rd rep I’ve spoken to the most rude, and most helpful. She did state I should recieve correspondence or my refund by the 12TH. She saw where I had an ID theft indicator on my acct. She notified me that once you’re a victim of attempted ID theft they watch the acct for 3 years. The processing time frame for that is 180 days max. But she said that may or may not be the case. I could still recieve my refund by tuesday. Also don’t read into TAX TRANSCRIPTS AND CYCLE CODES. She said they always change and they aren’t accurate until after April 15. Even after we recieve our refund they still change them during tax season.

I called and told them it’s been 21 days since it states you will receive your refund in 21 days if not you may call. And at this point it’s impossible to get mine tomorrow since nothing has been updated. She still refused & I asked to speak to a supervisor & she said have a nice day then hung up! Unfortunately I didn’t write her number down because it’s our right to speak to a supervisor according to the tax payer rights.
