Updated transcript shows 2/25. EIC/CTC

Got updated to path message overnight.

Viewed transcript and it shows cycle 20190601 date of Feb 25.

Above that it has processing date 2/25/2019.

Does that mean my refund will be on Feb 25th?

Any ideas on what that means?

I filed both eic and child tax credit but my transcript only shows my child tax credit and federal with held cycle 20190605 anyone having this issue?

So I have looked at my transcripts this year and my dates codes as follows…
Cycle 20190504
Processing date 2/11/19

I also looked back at my last 3 years transcripts…
2017- proc date 2/19/18 refund issued 2/22/18
2016-proc date 2/20/17 refund issued 2/23/17
2015-proc date 4/4/16 refund issued 3/22/16

Claimed my son and eic every year since 2014…

2015 was weird but I filed later that year waiting on w2s…
Only going by what has been the trend of last two years maybe ill see a refund on or aroend Feb 14th… Maybe not.
Either way I don’t expect to see an update on wmr until probably Feb 9th.

Where are you seeing the processing date? All Im seeing is a cycle code and then under that says received and the date on mine says 4/15/2019??

I am HOH and have both child credits.
So I see alot of people having the same processing date!
So if I’m understanding we should update this weekend with possible ddd????

My processing date is 2/11/19 as well. I dont know what the meaning is behind the date, but I can tell you this…Last year my processing date was 2/26…my dd hit my bank 2/22.

Honestly I have heard 500 different stories regarding the processing date. Been told that’s the day your refund will be sent to your bank, been told that it means nothing and been told that it means that’s the date the computer will pull your return again to finish processing it. So who knows. It’d be nice if someone that actually knew would post so we can finally understand it better.

General Google search will result others but this and turbotax are the best I think.

The code for mine is 05 meaning a weekly and on Thursday, 04 Wednesday and so fourth. You will get it the week later after processing date meaning mine says process date feb 18 I get it feb 21st the week after.

Oh and @Aaron…I let you know abiut that date andnits relevance by the 11th. Lol.
That’s the date in mine. Im not counting on it though because its before the date listed as earliesf refund for ACTC and EITC filers.

Oh gotcha. I was just wondering because a few other people on other forums have also said the 15th too.

I’m going to TRY not to check Fed until at least next week. What’s the point of checking daily knowing theres no change? Well that’s what I tell myself…and then I check anyways. Lol. Just made myself laugh. Lol. Its sad.

@jax2128 I didn’t see the 2/15 date anywhere. Path act states no refunds until at least mid February so just saying we wouldnt see any 846 until some time after that date. Last year it was the 17th or 18th (too lazy to look lol, whatever Saturday was) that wmr did a major update for pathers. There was a handful who updated on the 16th also.

Where did you see the date of 2/15? I’m just curious because the one on the IRS site says a different date of 02/23 minimum.

I know 2/15 was the date used a few years ago…so I definitely hope everyone else is right. Lastly year I got mine on 2/22 and 2/23 the year prior.

None of us will have a code 846 until some time after 2/15.

Last year my processing date was 2/19 and I got my dd on 2/22.
This year my processing date is 2/18 and I expect a ddd of 2/21. The year before last was similar too.

Yeah it’s definitely weird.
I like to go by Code 846…that’s the only one I trust lol.

My processing date has been dated 10 days BEFORE I got my refund the last 2 years. 2017 the processing date said 2/13 and I got it 2/23 and 2018 the processing date said 2/12 and I got it 2/22.

So I don’t think you can go by that.

Not sure what that processing date actually means though.
I checked last years and it posting was 3/5 but I received my DDD on 2/22/18.

@Aaron Processing dates can change. But I have noticed with previous transcripts it seems that my processing date ended up being the same as my refund date. To know your refund date for sure, wait until you see the 846 code on your transcript.
