What does ot mean when you can order transcripts?

I filed mine and my bf’s taxes on Jan 18th and they were both accepted Jan 19th through TT. We have both been stuck on 1 bar for days. I tried to order my transcripts and it will only let me use my old address which would be on last years return. However my bf is able to order his with our new address. The only difference is he has DD to a netspend card and I have it DD to my bank account as well as I claimed our child. Neither of us has a DDD yet…should I be concerned about the transcripts? What does this mean?

I filed and was accepted on January 26th (TaxAct) – first time checking my transcripts just now and could only order my account transcript. Which is fine… as long as we’re moving along :)

so if i can order my account transcript that means i am almost done? What about my return transcript if i can get that it means my refund is processed?

Because of fraud in the past, they made it that this year you can only order them through the mail. Instead of being able to view and print them online. So if you were able to order anything for 2015 then you should expect an update soon.

I’ve seen all the talk about transcripts, so I gave that a shot. When I ordered a return transcript for tax year 2015, I got a message saying I would receive it in 5-10 business days, but it didn’t show me anything. Is that just the generic response or does that mean mine has been processed?

I’ve tried ordering transcripts this week using my old address (moved in 2015) and nothing. Today I tried, again using the old address, and it said I entered the wrong info. Tried again with my new address and it worked. Acct transcript only, no return. Must be moving along.

We have accepted your request for a 2015 Account Transcript . Please allow 5-10 days to receive it. The transcript will be sent to the address we have on file for you.
If you need more than one copy of your transcript you are allowed to make copies for your personal records.

That they are done messing with your taxes and that you are going to be getting your money rather soon
