Under Review/Errors department

Finally called tax advocate today and was told I was pulled for review on the 17th of feb. I’m guessing the glitch sent a lot of ppl to review and errors department. Anybody else get told their under review? I haven’t received a letter or anything smh. Transcripts say no return on file

Was told 8weeks called irs after 8weeks the was told it’s in errors department and it take up to 10 weeks for them to fix it/process it or send a letter. 10 weeks was yesterday and WMR still says processing. I haven’t received any letter/notice. Called irs back for them to tell me they are sorry and behind in processing there might not be any errors and for me to just wait that after the 10week period they can’t give me any further dates/time frames and continue to check WMR.

I filed March 17 excepted March 17 bars disappeared on WMR on April 4 now says still being processed a refund date will become available when it’s available who knows how long it will sit there anybody else have a scenario like mine

This is pointless. We’re all grasping at straws hoping this means this and that. Sadly calling the IRS or a congressman most likely won’t help. I’m not bashing anybody for tryi G. I’d love to be wrong. Most of use have filed on or around the 12th. How many of these theories or rumors have been true? A lot of people said they spoke with an agent and the issue would be fixed by XX-XX-XXXX and here we are still waiting. I’ll get my refund when ir comes this guessing has worn me out.
