Under 60 Day Review-CP05

If anyone else out there has spoken to the IRS & was told that a CP05 letter was mailed out on 2/20 and you haven’t received it, please post here.

So I just wanted to post what I did this may help someone else. I filed January 13th I got a cp05 March 2 I waited 3 weeks then called local tax advocate 3 times took them 2 weeks to call me back. In the meantime I sent an email to my local congressman. I got a call from the advocate and then a letter from the congressman within 2 days of each other this was Monday and Wednesday. My WMR updated tonight. So I’m assuming the more people you can get involved the quicker they push it through.

We filed Feb 2nd was accepted the next day got our state the 12th. We called IRS about the fed March 3rd he said they sent a letter & we called back last week because still no letter,we received it the 18th and it was dated for 16th. We have no idea either but we’re praying it comes soon with everything going on were struggling & need it bad. Just waiting pretty much lol

Also said letter was posted 2/21/2020 and have nothing yet . lady said all my income is verified but we waiting on my hubby employer paper to be verified even though guys he works with got their refund

I was supposed to get one tomorrow but nothing is wrong on my return.. they said they cant see a w2 sent from my employer

I got they will mail it out March 9th I believe she said

They just told me they sent a letter on 2/20, nothing yet no.letter or anything
