It has been halfway forever and saying accepted. This morning the blue bar on TurboTax is full. However it still says accepted. WMR is still giving me the processed message with no bars.

      My refund was accepted 1/28
I received a CP74 letter on 2/15 saying Eic credits accepted. The letter is dated 2/18
Still no DDD or any movement on WMR or via landline.
I can’t view transcripts online but I ordered them which seems like forever ago via mail and they haven’t arrived.

Any advice would be great. I need my money

          Lol @jess

No i would think the people without kids who pay taxes in all year would get it first. Why the heck would they give people with free money coming from child credits the front of the line? Was it their choice for you to have children? Thanks for the laugh. That’s ignorance… not a woman trying to do her job and reading off a script. Everyone hears a big word on the news now no one knows the friggen definition.

Further… Why the f would turbo tax know where your taxes are?? They’re not the irs…theyre not even a state or gov’t office!!! Thats like calling your tax guy at the walmart booth and calling him names when he cant tell you anything. All they do is package it up on the right forms and press send.
Wow these threads are getting bad.

They do. Hire people right before (and during) tax season, I mean. One of their contracted call centers is about 15 minutes away from me, husband worked for them a few years ago then got switched to another contract after tax season.

Their actual tax advisors are supposed to be trained/helpful, but most call a seem to end up on a software/customer support line.

              Hey Jess,

WMR does unpate more than one time. The site just say that to try to get people not to keep logging in. It updates different times and also multiple times a day.

I looked back at past years returns and the status apparently doesn’t change from accepted to sent or anything, just stays at accepted…still, I don’t understand the point of that bar either 🙄 it’s like they hired a bunch of people right at the start of the tax season and didn’t train them whatsoever. Not sure if I’ll be using them next year either.

makes no sense jess…I AGREE!! I also used TT and count me as disappointed. Everyone I know loves them…but as for me…I’m not a big fan. Whats thepoint of the “bar” if its totally inaccurate? I called too, and the TT rep was comical, in a sad way. She doesn’t seem to realize how anything TT does works. Wont be using them next year.

Not sure why my post took forever to go through…figured I didn’t click submit that’s why there’s two different replies.

Go check out my thread I called turbo tax and the woman I spoke to was totally ignorant. Had no clue what bar I was talking about and claimed WMR updates multiple times a day, she says the IRS only claims it updates once a day so the IRS doesn’t get as many phone calls…fucking idiots can’t even answer questions with the right info and I’m just getting so aggravated. I’m pretty sure it’s bevause it’s close to the 21 day mark.

I called turbo tax earlier because I’m in the same boat and wow it was pointless. The woman had no clue what bar I was talking about she also claimed the update WMR multiple times a day after I informed her it says no more than once a day very clearly after you log into it…ignorance at its finest. Hoping to see good news on WMR tomorrow morning because I can’t even view my transcripts online either. You’d think the people with kids who actually need their fucking money would get it before others.🙄

Same for me, but how i look at it. TT is not the IRS, so although my bar is full, I have to wait on the IRS to release the funds. At this point it is “hurry up and wait” because I cant do anything else.

Probably because you are at 21 days. I don’t think that bar actually tracks progress past the accepted state.
