Turbo Tax Thank you Email

I just received an email from Turbo Tax thanking me for filing my taxes with them. Has anyone else received this and if was it any indication about the status of your refund?

I just spoke to them via phone chat. You can c them but they cannot see you but who really cares. It is one of there tools you can use to talk to them face to face so to speak about your return. I was told mine had been accepted on the 24th, (I knew that) and she told me it had succeeded. She said that basically meant that it was approved by the IRS and I should be seeing my refund by next week however…. After having her repeating this to me three times just to be certain we were on the same page, I looked up what succeeded meant in regards to TT. The article read that it just meant my return was accepted so I don’t know what to believe but seriously, use that tool on TTs app so you can FaceTime them. I called the number to get this info and it was a 2 hour wait. I did the FaceTime chat and it was almost immediate.

Yeah generic email. I got the same last year a week after I got my DD. But it was exactly 15 days after I filed and was accepted. Still hoping for an update though

I got the same email I was accepted on 1/19 too it may mean something ijs.

I’ve been on this site for awhile, so I’ve seen it all. I filed the 11th still no money. TT sends out a generic email at day 14 or 15 or so after you filed. So im sorry to say, but it means nothing. I got mine about a week ago. Just hang in there guys, your money is coming, just not yet. Best wishes, hoped this helped.

I got the same email and was wondering the same thing!

On another forum i did read that someone said that last year they got it 15days after they were accepted the the same this year. The theory is that 15 days after your aceptance they send the email. Was everyone else who got the email accepted on 1/19? And did anyone accepted on a later day receive the email today? (that would disprove the theory).

I got it today also. But I went and checked my old emails, and I received the same email last year and then two days later I received my refund. So I’m hoping it’s the same this year…….fingers crossed

Sorry.. But it’s just a generic email… us 1/11ers got it last week. It means nothing, about 50% of us are missing bars have have not had any movement since 1/29.
