We have insurance through our employer. I just realized turbo tax didn’t ask me anything about health insurance this year. My transcript doesn’t state any letters have been sent or anything, but I keep hearing that turbo tax was supposed to ask about this and they dropped the ball? If I had insurance through an employer is my refund going to be delayed because that was not reported ?

@Julia your employer insurance requires a 1095c which is not required to be sent in with your tax return. It is sent to the IRS by your employer and will not hold up your return as not sending in a 1095a would.

No, my experience you would have a 1095c. Not 1095a

Hello, @Julia. I believe it is for Marketplace. I could be mistaken, however, contact TT. They can better answer, since they are the ball dropper this yr, I mean since they are the ones that “prepared your taxes”. We are all learning much this yr! I will never forget to include my insurance info, needed/optional or, not.

All the best to ya! !
