      Anyone who had their fees taken out who used Turbotax showing Tax Topic 203 on Where’s My Refund? I’m showing tax topic 203, but would not have any offsets so I’m thinking maybe it’s because of the fees?

            I did call the offset number and shows nothing is owed so that’s why it’s so weird to me. I don’t have students loans, child support, and nothing owed to state or federal. I looked at posts from last year, and there were some people who said it was fees, too. I’ve never received letters or anything for any type of collection or anything? Did anyone who replied use turbo tax have this code and not owe an offset?

              Yep, that’s correct. Call the automated treasury offset number and they’ll tell u where all or part of the money was applied to 1 (800) 304-3107

                @aod92:
                Unfortunately, no. TT 203 is an IRS code, and completely separate from your tax preparer. You’d be surprised at the number of people who swear they dont have any offsets, yet the IRS manages to find them, or apply them. I’m sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but hopefully it’s a small offset and they will DD the remainder of your refund (if there’s any left after they take whatever may be owed.)

                Side note, if they do take part or all of your refund for said offset, you can always appeal!! It may take some time, but you could fight to get your refund returned. Good luck!!!
