turbo tax direct deposit date?

I keep reading different posts that say a date that Turbo Tax gave them for their direct deposit. Since they post saying that they don’t have a ddd from the IRS yet I’m assuming this date is an estimate. That said, where are they/you seeing that date on the TT site? I filed with TT again this year and though I’ve looked I can’t find any mention of a date for my direct deposit.

Accepted 1/22
One bar/processing right away on WMR
Yesterday morning The Whole page with the bars went away and I got a message that the refund is still processing. That is the same today.

used TT and filed/accepted same day which was 1/23/19. I have a refund date on TT of 2/13/19…but its only their estimate, and as we know the IRS can do whatever they want lol. Just keep checking your online transcripts andlook for the 846 code…that’s a great sign your DD is about to hit the bank.

You are exactly right, if the IRS doesn’t have a date, the date on Turbo Tax is just the 21 day estimate!

Thank you for that information. Anyone have a ddd already that knows if TT is close to accurate? I notice for mine I believe it’s exactly 21 Days from the day I was accepted . I wonder if they’re just conting out 21 Days and giving that date since returns are said to be mostly done within that window. Hmmm.

The other day TT said my return was accepted the same night I filed, i.e., Jan. 28 and my estimated DDD would be Feb. 18. Today I just logged in again and it’s saying my acceptance date was Jan. 30 and my new DDD is Feb. 20.

Use a PC not phone, it will show under your refund amount at the far right side of the tiny green strip. Hope that helps

The app doesn’t show estimated date. When I logged on from a pc, I could see an estimated DDD of 2/14….

Though- wmr now says 2/6

Accepted 1/25 still one bar and tax topic 152. I filed with turbo tax and mine doesn’t have an estimate either. Or if it does I don’t see it anywhere.
