I received my check In the mail today 3/7. For anyone who is also receiving a paper check after DD was denied for any reason I learned today you can make a account with USPS and track any mail that’s is getting delivered to your address. It is very helpful and gives detailed information you can track it’s movements daily.

Called the IRS and they said my refund was yanked for review (funny seeing how it was already approved and had a DDD) and it seems like im not the only one they did it too.
Lady did give some information; apparently the IRS hasnt gotten everyones W2’s so theres a massive delay.
Make sure you re-check the wheres my refund to make sure your refund isnt for review.

Check your return for deposit information you and where they entered refund to be sent. I have WMMC and used hrblock and for some reason they added the last 4 digits of my card number to my account number and now they are mailing me a paper check

My refund was received by sbtgp on 2/25 and sent to turbo card on 2/26. I called sbtgp today 2/29 6:30pm and they said the payment was sent on 2/25 but got reversed by turbo. She said she doesn’t know why but they sent out a paper check the same day it was returned on 2/25 and said 3-10 days. I’m in Pennsylvania it’s coming from San Diego California

I called sbtpg and I sat on hold for one hour and four minutes. I was told that if you hear “pending deposit” it means your funds are queued and waiting to be transferred (deposited) to your financial institution or payment card. The fees have already been taken out. You’re basically waiting in line. I read on this forum, that if you switch to the desktop version of sbtpg to check your status you will be able to see your routing number appear. When you see that your funds have been deposited.

In N.C., TT prepaid card (Greendot), no fees or anything, hit my card sometime b/w midnight and 5am. Not sure what the deal is with those who have not gotten it yet. It tells you on the website. If that did happen (unlikely) . Take a screenshot of both your DL and husband’s before calling, call and stay on the phone until they receive it. They will give you the email. I think it takes a day to unblock the account. It happened to me with my husband’s SS check. He got a greendot account recently and called to verify ID for tax refund. They told him not to worry about. Hopefully all goes well. Maybe they’re a little less picky with refunds.

It could. If so greendot will freeze the account until they verify your ID. You will have to screenshot and send your DL. If so they won’t inform you. Hopefully that doesn’t happen and it gets deposited without problem.

I have greendot, husbands paycheck is deposited on it Sadly Greendot no longer offers early deposits for tax returns. Hasn’t for the last 2 years at least.

As for the withdrawal fees, go to USBank. That’s the bank that Greendot partnered with.

Last year my DDD was 2/27. I got funds on 2/24 at 1:00am on the AMEX debit card. This year I used the Turbo Tax card ( which I never will again ) and still no funds.

We started using Chime last year right after we got our taxes and it’s the best card yet. My fiance ( who claimed no credits) got his refund 2 days after being ACCEPTED, he used the Chime card.

So we should expect our refund on our DDD, not early?

Finally got my moolah ! Used TT no fees . WMR still only showing 2 bars. Had a DDD of 2/24 and it posted on Greedot card at 5:31 AM today. Greendot doesn’t release tax refunds until the day of DD. See ya all next year.

My Oregon state taxes say they were sent as of Friday but there is nothing in my account and TPG doesn’t have any info either

TT with greendot DD of 2/24…. Nothing yet, Greendot does not release refunds until day of deposit. Last year mine arrived around 7 pm on the day of DDD.

I’ve had mine go to Green Dot for at least the last 10 years. Only once have I gotten it early, and that was the night before. Sarah is right; I talked to them several years ago about this. My husband gets his paycheck early, but tax refunds don’t count.

I have used TT for the last 4 years and have always had my fee’s taken out of refund and I’ve never gotten it 2 days early. It always comes the night before usually as we are sitting down for dinner. So if u have a DDD for the 24th I’d put money down that you’ll have it about 6 tonight! My DDD is for the 26th and I know tuesday I will have it!! It’s a coming u guys!!

I’ve used Turboprepaid card for the past 3 years, never received it earlier than my DDD date. Even last year when I paid my fees upfront, I received the deposit on ddd date. So no high Hope’s here about Turbo.

As of 10:45 am still do DD with TT greendot for a DDD of 2/24 so I’m guessing tomorrow I hope as with most of the ppl here I could really use it.

Sarah, you have been claiming to know all kinds of stuff, all of its been wrong, on several threads over the last few days. People have been calling you out. When you choose to get your Federal tax refund deposited to a Turbo Visa Debit Card, TurboTax works with Green Dot to get the right account info to the IRS (and/or the State) to make sure the money gets put on your card. As soon as the IRS approves your refund, the money gets electronically deposited to your card—simple as that!

I had TurboTax prepaid last year and I distinctly remember getting mine 3 days early. I remember I wasn’t expecting it and so I was really excited. This year does seem to be slower and I wouldn’t be surprised if we have to wait until closer to the DDD. I’m still expecting it at least the day before

@lys thank you for your response! @sarah, not sure where it specifically says that.. I assure you if I did, I would not have bothered asking. But I don’t think anybody really knows, seems to be diff for everybody. I’ve seen multiple ppl say they did get it early with that card and a few say day of🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

Government benefits means Social Security and those types of deposits that are made on a regular basis. It specifically says that it will not release tax refunds early. Most people that are receiving theirs early have Chime or another bank that will allow it to release early, but TurboTax to the GreenDot card does not.

I’ve filed with TT with the TT Visa last two years they’ve always sent an email saying your refund is on the way and it’ll be be available within 1-2 days..hope this helps some of you with the TT Visa card..

Have a DDD of 2/24, just wondering if I might see it tomorrow even tho it’s a Sunday?? Or if I’ll just b waiting til Monday?? Don’t see anything pending but idk if that normally shows. Everyone keeps saying that but ive seen people with credits get it earlier ..
and there’s a forum on Facebook (tax refund help)
Her DDD was 2/24 she got it 3 days earlier she said she had credits and uploaded her screenshot. Maybe it is the day of. But people always say it’s the day before and lucky ones get there’s 2 days earlier (like the card states)

thank you Jess cause it’s driving me crazy lol everywhere I Click a/b TT prepaid card it’s always mixed answers. Someone argued a guy down yesterday saying its the day of but on (tax refund help) a page on fb a lady got hers on the 21st! Her ddd was 2/24! and uploaded a screenshot. I for one hope I get it earlier just like her!

I used Turbo Prepaid card last year and received my dd a day early. So I’m inclined to agree with @Amy. I’ve also filed with Turbo Tax the past 5 years and always received my refund at least a day prior. Some may be different. That’s just my experience with them.

I’ve seen with my own eyes people get their money 2-3 days before with turbo tax so I don’t even ask it seems like everyone is 50/50 some get it day of some are lucky and get it 1-2 even 3 days before

It’s ridiculous because the turbo card advertises that government benefits up to 4 days sooner and payroll dd 2 days sooner!

Turbo Tax Card (Green Dot) holds till day of unfortunately if you had the Walmart green dot then one day early!

DDD of 2/24 with TT no fees , waiting for DD on greendot. Will post here when it drops but I don’t think I’ll see it until 2/24. For what it’s worth other folks have been posting greendot will hold it until the actual day of DD. Hope it’s sooner !
