      Just got a email from turbo tax demanding I pay them $32 for filing my taxes. They say I have to pay it because IRS delayed my refund and if I don’t pay by the 2nd of April they’re going to draft it from my bank account that I provided to the IRS for my refund to be deposited into. I filed a free return through them. I guess since I had to edit the return to add a 1095A they changed it to a different type of return but I wasn’t told at the time it was changed. Just sucks I’m still waiting for a return I filed in January and now turbo tax wants money. This year has just been stressful. Next year I will NOT be using turbo tax to file my return.

          Well I didn’t provide my bank info to them technically. I provided it to the IRS for return purposes. They send your money to their bank where they get their payment then that bank forwards the return to you from what I understand so why should they use info I provided on my tax return to get their little $32? I will pay them but them threatening to debit my checking account that I provided to the IRS not them is some crap! I wonder how much of your info they keep and use at their discretion…….

            What a piss off! the same thing is probably going to happen to us at this point! IRS told me it would take up to 9 weeks. It sucks because we paid or supposed to be paying turbotax over $120 for filing fees this year! Luckily, they don’t have our bank account info just Net spend info. Either way, I’m done with efiling.
