TT203 but no offset cods on Transcripts

Hello all I’m stressing. So my DDD is 2/27 I update with the rest of you guys this weekend. My TT 203 was on there so I started researching. Transcripts still say refund issued no new codes as of today. I called offset line option 2 did say I had an offset. Is it possible to still get a refund if my transcript doesn’t show any offset codes?

@Tara last year I got my full refund and this same student loan balance was around. Heck it’s been around for 10 years now. I didn’t even think about it being offset last year.I had totally forgot about that loan balance. I filled BK in 2017 and student loans are not included. I’ve always owed money to the irs in the past because of income. This would be the first year that I really counted on a refund. Feedback is saying my offset codes won’t show on transcript until DDD date. So if no money by tomorrow I’ll just take the “L”. I have Netspend so it should be in there by 2/26 if my DDD IS 2/27. My sister received a TT 203 also and DDD2/27. I just checked her transcript and it’s not showing a offset code either but her credit union has her deposit pending and half of her refund was offset to student loan balances.

@queen I’m in the same boat but I filed bankruptcy and was told dept of Ed wouldnt try to collect ever and here we are. I tried to call dept of Ed and offset and talk to someone and was on hold for 4 hours. Now when I try to call the offset line again I get a recording that they can’t help. I’m freaking out and just need to know if I’ll get my taxes.

@Stephie21 Goodrp know. My DDD is 2/27 just trying to check all avenues to see if it’s still possible to get my refund with an offset. I think I’ve checked everywhere. Very few people have stated they still for refund even with an offset. Hopeful.

Offset will post to transcript on your processing date. I had DD 2/22 offset did not show on transcript prior to DD. Havent checked transcripts since, but I know my processing date isnt until 3/05.
Last year I had state tax offset and it didnt post to my transcript until my processing date.

@Jomas thank you. So o want to make sure I’m looking at the right offset line on transcripts. I’m looking at the Record of Account Transcript is that the correct one?

The transcripts will not show offset code only wmr the offset line will tell you if all or some
Of your refund will be used if you have a ddd

Good to know I’m not alone. I called offset line and I do have an offset but my transcript has no offeset codes and still days refund issue date of 2/27. I’m just curious when do the offset codes go on transcript and if anyone in our boat has still received refunds in this case.

Mine doesnt either, we are in the same boat. Im getting a complete runaround today. I called the dept of ed, they transferred me to the collection agency who told me to call the treasury dept, who told me originally to call the dept of ed. Now Im back on hold with the treasury department. .

Now Im back on hold with the treasury department. This is nerve racking. I dont know anything yet either. No offset codes on my transcript either.
