Filed with TT, advance and fees. No stimulus. Went to portal at 6am Wednesday morning, they had no dd info. Put my checking account in and it was accepted bit have been locked out ever since.

From what I’m finding, anyone who was able to update their info through the portal should start seeing deposits possibly this weekend but more than likely next week because they’ll be dated for the 22nd.

I got mine no problem on TT card. If you see last four of ssn on irs website with a DD date you will be getting payment on TT card . There servers are overloaded that’s why you can’t check balances. They sent me an email stating my new balance was 3400.00 . Def check irs portal to make sure they have the date of DD .

I had fees taken out of my taxes this year and also the first year Bihar the prepaid card (never ever again! Approved for an advance and then denied).

When i logged into the get my payment portal it showed as not enough information on file. I added my credit union deposit info and now have to wait for an update for a deposit date. If you’re waiting on TT and have had feed or advances, you may want to get the irs site

That was the first sign TurboCard wouldn’t work. It’s because the Advance made it a “Tax Product” card but so did “Fees Deducted” option. I read that warning early somewhere in either sbtpg’s site or TurboTax site itself (not Turbocard site) and their site’s forums. That was the reason for “waitng on info/direction from IRS” on the main site’s covid-19 link.

Both me and my aunt filed with TT, had the advance AND opted to pay our fees with our federal return.

Thw number on the irs website has 12 x’s (your acc number) then it ends with the last 4 of your social. This is how the system lays out prepaid cards. If you are set for dd then you should get it.

Guys chill out. The website will not say it is direct depositing if it is not. Look at the account number it says. Look at the amount of digits. It has your account number and then your last four of your social. It would say if you arent getting deposit and need more info. There is no logical reason that they wouldnt be able to send the money if you got a refund advance. The irs still deposited the other half of that and has your dd info.

Okay so I can’t get into my Turbo card at all. I had no fees but I ha the advance taken off my tax return.
I just checked where’s my payment and it says I have a scheduled direct deposit for today but the last 4 of the account number is the last 4 of my social??
I tried to transfer money from my TTcard to my other card and it said low balance so it clearly isn’t in my TTcard account yet

Don’t be so hard on yourself. Honestly people lose and throw those cards away after they spend their returns. TurboTax would’ve ended up printing more cards if the IRS decided “let’s just send it there”. There was far greater potential for a lose or someone getting their stimulus payment stolen if they misplaced the card etc.

All TT card user Update on portable with your AGI and Federal return tax amount then enter your account and routing number. They are not depositing on TT cards that have fees taken out or loan. You have to update your banking information.

I went on the IRS site and used the portal to see when I would receive my refund and it let me know that it did not have my bank info for DD. I was able to update it to my Bank of America account there. It does not tell me when to look for the check now.

One is that for some reason they cant charge fees with the refund so the bank had to zero out accounts to receive deposits and second, they took the money that was delinquent in your account ( month fees) then sent the rest back as return to be mailed. The issue here is that SBTPG, and TT, are not interested on processing all this transactions and deal with intense callers. Tthey are most likely under-staff because of the COVID19 situation. Also, they will not be paid for this because they can’t deduct it

For all of you stating that the stimulus will not go to your prepaid turbo card, ask yourself this, how is that you can send this same account info(turbo card acct and routing number), to your employer and receive your paycheck on time without it having to go through SBTG???? Without any issues!!

Regardless of any fees that were paid through SBTG, you will get your stimulus on your turbo Card. Some people have gotten their stimulus early because that is how their bank or prepaid card foes business. But we all know Turbo tax will release the day of. Alot of deposits will show up tomorrow or leading into tomorrow.

The direct deposit info on your tax return is set up as a regular checking account. The IRS is sending payments to those who have direct deposit set up. So if you filed your taxes and chose to use direct deposit, whether it is your personal bank account or Turbotax Prepaid card, you will receive it via Direct deposit. The Turbo card acts as a regular debit bank card.

I know a few ppl in review I’m not sure about audit. Mine is as well. But one I know has received his stimulus. I don’t think the stimulus has anything to do with the status of your refund. Just the banking information they have on file is necessary for the issuance of the stimulus checks.

I have a turbo card. I got my state refund but my federal return is being audited. Will this delay my stimulus payment. Haven’t seen any comments about this

Turbocard has disabled the ability to call. You used to be able to speak to a live person but not now. The automated phone system does not give you the option. Really shady.

Okay I’ve been reading everything on here. I didn’t receive any email I checked in my spam as well. I paid for the fees that turbo tax was charging for by using my refund instead of paying those fees upfront the day I filed my taxes with TT. I elected to get my money on a turbo pre paid card and I did and the card is still active but oh well. Time will tell for me. Best of luck to everybody else ! Steven

I received an e mail on Friday ( it was in my spam folder for some reason ) that TT had received my stim.check and it would be available on the 15th. It would have been nice if they had released it on Fri but I guess they wanted a few days of interest on that 1200. I’ll never use the TT card again. They also held my tax return for 4 days until the actual day of DD so they do not release funds early as so many other cards do. F U turbo card !

Mick is completely correct. This is an entirely separate thing from taxes. The IRS is simply pulling banking info and sending money – it has nothing to do with how you paid to have your taxes filed or if you received a loan. If your banking information is correct (Routing # and Account #) on your 1040, then you will receive a DD. This stimulus has nothing to do with any third-party payment systems. If your Routing and Account numbers match your return, you will get a DD.

From TurboTax web site :According to the IRS, the Internal Revenue Service will send the check to the bank account number you used for the direct deposit information included on that return (2019 or 2018 if you did not file a 2019 return). Or, if you did not include direct deposit information on your tax form, the IRS will mail the check to you at the address you included on your tax form.

Since the card has a routing & banking number it should go on the card if it is active.

I did my boyfriends taxes with TT he only paid for fees with refund. He received his stimulus last night at about midnight on a bluebird Amex. I had fees and refund advance with TT also have turbocard. I have not received mine. Maybe TT cards are just holding the deposits

I called last week and TT said it would. I saw the forums this morning and called TT and they said no. It is very odd others are getting it but folks who used TT and Turbocard are not. Not trying to spread misinformation. Just what I’m being told. Maybe others should call and post what is said.

All we can really do is wait until Wednesday. I know my DD info on the app matches what is on my tax return. If they are going by that info then I expect my funds. So I will wait patiently and if all else fails I’ll wait until the portal is open on IRS site the 17th

Why so much mixed news about DD on TT cards. People are saying no there will be no direct deposits other people saying yes it will be direct deposit. Others are saying only direct deposits for people that paid fees up front.

I called. Its also all over the TT forums. When I called the lady said if you had fees taken out on your regular tax return you would be getting a paper check mailed from the IRS. If you paid fees up front you will get a direct deposit.

*UPDATE FOR TT USERS** I follow TT on facebook. They have now stated WE WILL receive our stimulus to our cards if you chose dd! 😌 If you follow the page you will see in the comments TT agents reply has now changed to whether or not people still have access to their cards..so..i guess good news for those of us who have our cards active. @syraz is correct…if you show your TT card direct deposit info on your 1040 (routing and account number that matches the information in your app), that’s what they are going by. Don’t worry too much 😊

no one is looking at their returns before getting worried is the issue. lots of missinformation going around. People that have a STPBG routing and not their TT card will be the ones getting a check. the IRS is going off the tax return information. IE the 1040

Remember… During tax time, there is almost always a “test batch” of refunds go out. They test out the process and usually do this before a much larger “dump.” I am thinking this “dump” will occur between Sunday night and Tuesday, based on past IRS schedules. Crossing my fingers that this is correct. It is a hunch that I have.
